One of the best set of instructions and packaged items I've bought in forever
I did give the easy to assemble a four mainly because I would have given a 4.5 if an option. The corner assembly may be more difficult for some folks. It can be a bit tricky to balance, but once you get two sides on, the rest is easy. I'm just thinking of my parents or some of my friends who would have issues with that aspect (See 1st picture). But after all the packaging was removed from the shipping box, I found something new and different from most of the stuff I have purchased and inevitably needed to return. Metal! No Plastic parts, screws that were machined properly (it is an art to make proper threads), accessories that will last more than one or two uses, labeled hardware packages and easy to follow instructions! Wow, see I knew manufacturer's had it in them. Nothing like getting instructions that have the graphics reversed or are not in English or Spanish or French (I read all three), hardware all dumped into one package and one cannot tell the difference between connector A and B. It took me about an hour to assemble but that was with plenty of distractions and a not-so-great area for assembly. The order specified made sense and I did not have to sit there and go "Hmm, what do they really mean? Or "Oh, I see, they flipped the graphic." I have two coats on one side, one of the coats is a heavy duty meant for Minnesota winters. The "rack" is not tipping over, not even close. So the furniture appears to be stable. Even so, it comes with two straps and hardware to secure to a wall or divider. I am adding cloth bins to the levels for gloves, summer sandals, etc, I may have to take one side of hooks off for when I find a final resting place, which may be against a wall. But this is hands down one of the better built items I have purchased for the new house. I have made so many returns, a not so nice feeling after about the 10th item that is just crap or not what it was supposed to be. My UPS Store people know me by first name! Also, I have purchased Songmics items before and glad to say they continue to surprise me with the quality of item for the price. I now search on that brand in the oceans of nonsensical names and sometimes hilarious names. Great deal, great item.

Classy and functional
We love this coat rack. There are four shelves with plenty of room, and plenty of hooks for clothing or dog leashes/collars. It was a little more on the expensive side than I wanted to pay, but the quality makes it worth the money. It is very sturdy, and it was easy to put together. Itโs quite large, so make sure you have plenty of room for this rack. The only drawback is that the hooks are not rounded, so if you put clothing or anything without a tag to hang it on, it leaves a stretch mark in the material on the item you have hanging on it.

In spite of my many quibbles, it's pretty decent
I'm kind of mixed about this. BY FAR the worst problem is that it comes packed in cheap styrofoam that disintegrated during shipping and spilled out as individual pellets all over my floor. It's a good thing I had a large space that was vinyl and easily cleaned, but this added a couple of hours of hassle and cleanup to the assembly phase because individual bits of styrofoam are statically charged and jump when you try to reach them. PRO-TIP: Get a little bowl of water and a lot of paper towel. Use wet paper towel to mop them up. The static electric effect is far less when those things are wet. And do it over an easy to wet, clean, and later dry surface. But SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY, the makers of this product need to invest in different packing material. The assembly is already difficult (read on), but this compounded that problem A LOT. It seems to basically do its job. It's kind of tall, but it's not pretending otherwise, and it probably needs to be this size once it starts to hold winter coats (which is what I bought it for, and winter isn't exactly here in my location yet). The assembly is complicated. Not intellectually difficult, but a LOT to do. The instructions are marginal. It took me a while to realize that one of the items was an Allen wrench for what I originally thought was a circular hole but really has little angles in it. One of the feet was unreasonably hard to screw in. The other three worked fine, which leads me to believe there is a precision issue in the manufacturing of the screw-on feet. (I don't think it's in the point that receives the feet because I tried the same foot in multiple places and it didn't work in any of them without a LOT of help.) It would have helped if I had pliers to help me grasp that foot to turn it, but I had to use my fingers and almost gave up. In the end, after about 20 minutes of effort, I was victorious. But I was close to having to order a better part from the company and that left me pretty displeased, especially after all the hassles with styrofoam. It seems sturdy enough and abstractly it is aesthetic. I didn't notice until too late that I might have wanted to align the wood grain of the shelves better, but I guess it doesn't matter a lot. I wasn't gonna take it back apart by time I realized this. It's heavy, but probably needs to be to hold big coats. Its bulky nature means it didn't look as great with stuff piled on it, but in my teeny house, I'm compensating for no closet, so maybe that's par for the course. The shelves are a cool touch. I use one for outgoing mail. I do kinda wish they had a lip on them so that small items wouldn't roll off, but just another detail. The lower coat hooks felt like they were going to get run into by people or be in the way, so although I installed the 4 top ones, I only installed two of the lower ones. I think it's good that I have the option, though. And I was able to remove them easily when I found I didn't like them. So, I don't know. It solves real problems for me. I didn't see anything else close to this in style and function, so kudos to them for addressing a real need. I wish I were more in love with it and my overall happiness might be very different if installation had been easier and less messy. But assembly is a one-time pain, I hope. My floors are uneven in places, and I may need to adjust those troublesome feet. We'll see. So far so good. I think it will grow on me once I get past the installation memories.

Very cute and useful
I love this. I put it together by myself. Iโm a 39 year old woman and it took me about 90 minutes to put together. Itโs sturdy, cute, and very useful. Iโm so happy I decided to get it.

Love it-easy to assemble, great organization
I don't have patience for assembly when directions are unclear but I had no problem assembling this piece. It took about an hour but it was not difficult so rest at ease if you're wondering about that part. I had a typical coat rack for years and as I started to acquire heavy leather items such as leather handbags and leather jackets, it would tip over. I saw this and thought it'd be really useful for those heavy items. It's hard to see in the photo I took but I've placed one of my enormous leather Frye bags on one of the shelves, so that takes weight off of the outside. It's still plenty sturdy enough to hang heavy items all around it (including another, smaller leather handbag plus a leather jacket, etc.) but having those shelves is a very useful and unique design for heavy items or any items, really. I have games on the 2 bottom shelves and a plant on top. The only downside was that I had to move it to a part of the living room where I wouldn't normally put a coat rack, since it did not fit in the spot that I had my old coat rack because it's large. So that kind of threw things off in the living room at first (I had a tall fake tree in this spot previously) but I rearranged some things and I think it worked out. So keep that in mind-it may not fit well in the spot where you had your old coat rack. The photo doesn't do it justice. I should have taken another pic without so much stuff hanging off of it because that would have shown its true beauty.

Great purchase!
Very sturdy and nice looking coat rack. I love how you can hold so many things on it at once. Husband put it together and said that it wasn't too hard to assemble, but there were many instances where the manufacturer could have made it much easier for the assembler. He said to mention that if the assembler is as OCD as he is, make sure to line up the edge banding on the shelves so there is no seam on the side you want to display. One tiny irritation..... the assembly stickers (1,2,3) on the bottom of the shelves were hard to completely remove. And sadly, the manufacturer added a larger company sticker on the bottom of the top shelf (the other shelves didn't have it)... and it is the only shelf that you can clearly see the bottom (and thus the lovely sticker)! So it took a while to get the sticker off the top shelf after it was assembled. I think goo gone was involved.

Trust the assembling process.
I was very skeptical of the design when I started putting it together this morning--Part A seemed very very flimsy and poorly designed. But I went real slow and used the back of a chair to brace the center pieces and it quickly got much more stable as the build progressed. It took me 30 minutes of very slow following of directions and that was it! Highly recommend having the back of a chair to balance the piece as you are putting the screws in the flat parts. It's very sturdy when finished and looks really really nice in my office space. The directions were clear and it was not hard to do--just take your time and don't rush!

Sturdy, Space-Saving Coat Rack with Smart Shelving
This coat rack is a great fit for my workspace in the office. The triangle design allows it to sit perfectly in the corner without taking up much room, and it is nice to look at. It easily holds multiple items at once (even my heavy, long winter coat) and still feels very sturdy. I also really like the two shelf options, which are perfect for setting down the things I bring with me to work each day. Practical, well-designed, and a great use of space.

Coat rack for the washroom instead๐
Love this! Bit of a pain to put together and recommend a multi head screwdriver to make it easier, although it was great that the Allen key included did the job. Once built, sturdy and fabulous!

Highly recommend this coat rack
This is great coat rack! The assembly was easy and the final product is solid and stable. The distance of the hooks makes it less cluttered when full. I like that it also has racks to put items on it, to make most of the space that it occupies.
