Gouache
These babies are cheap but pretty good, and are going to be used for my gouache painting. My only problem was the chemical-ish smell that came with them, hence the star off.

Very good brushes for beginners and intermediate
I saw a review of these brushes on Youtube. So I purchased them in hopes of having high school students use them for beginning watercolor class. I tried them out and I have to say, they are really great brushes for beginners and even intermediate painters. For those who want to try out brushes before purchasing more expensive and better brushes like synthetic kolinsky, or synthetic sable brushes.

The brushes I use most
I bought this set of watercolor brushes after reading all the positive reviews. Glad I did. They have become my most used brushes. They hold paint well and I get a good response even from the largest round in the packet.

WORHT the $10 bucks!
The media could not be loaded. Great set of basic brushes, not too much snap in the bristles for watercolor but enough that I think these would work with acrylics also. Nicely hold water and glide well across the paper. Good purchase for cheap set of brushes. 2 enthusiastic thumbs up👍👍

Would recommend
I like how durable the brush is, and how much paint/water it can hold. For the price, it seems to good to be true. But the thing is I was on Jerry's Artarama and these same brushes are slightly cheaper, but if you want it fastly shipped to you home then order from here.

Middle of the road! I'm not impressed or disappointed.
I wouldnt say these brushes look or feel "luxurious" but they are about what I would expect for the price. The handles are a somewhat cheap feeling and sounding resin, and some of the ink on mine has stuck to the plastic case they come in (the left half of the word "round" on the size 8 brush is stuck to the plastic bag). I have only used the size 6 brush, but I have washed the glue out of all of them. The largest round brush shed so much hair after gently rinsing the glue out out the bristles, and I did not store them vertically. I washed the brushes, set them down to dry and half an hour later picked them up to feel the soft bristles (they are synthetic but very soft) and you can see how many fell out in the photo attached! The 6 brush shed many hairs while I was using gouache with it for an hour or so. No shedding immediately from the other two, but I'm not confident they'll hold up for very long. The bristles have an alright snap to them, it takes some effort and practice to acheive a stroke with perfect points at both ends with the size 6 round brush, but after 10 or 15 tries I did it. For under $15 Im sure you could find a real gem but these are just fine, you could do much worse :) Next time I might spend the same amount on a size 6 round brush in hopes that one doesn't shed. I also just wanted to point out that on the packaging there is a typo! Definitely not luxurious haha I think they meant "bristles" instead of "brittles".

Great basic set
Really happy with these. The shorter lenght is perfect for me, and I believe the quality will last for a good time if taken care of correctly. Size range is nice.
