I wanted a case to protect my tablet, and I really wasn't looking for much more than that. I had a cradle I was using whenever the tablet was on my desk, so I wasn't even excited about the display options of this case. The thing I did like that most was that the tablet sits into a plastic molding, rather than being held in place with a leather flap and some velcro like the folio case I bought years ago for a different tablet.However, the case works so great, I don't even use the cradle on my desk anymore, I just fold the cover back and the tablet is displayed in all it's glory! Evevn flipping it around to use in "typing mode" works great for those times I need to type on it and it isn't on my desk paired with the keyboard. The plastic cradle that the tablet mounts in holds it just fine! I still have full access to all the buttons and ports on the tablet, and the speakers are not obstructed in any way. I also like the feature of opening the cover and the tablet automatically turning on, it's a convienient feature to have for sure!I honestly have absolutely no complaints with this product, been using it for almost two weeks now and it's been great. In fact, I just typed this review using the tablet while in the case!

I have one of these for my Dell Venue 8 Windows tablet. It works well for what it is designed for so I thought I would give this one a try. The pros of this case is there is corner protection for most drops. The SM-T580 is a lot heavier than the SM-T550 from a few years ago so it might not survive a high fall even with a thick case.The cover that goes over the screen is really thin. It takes up no real extra space in my briefcase. The downside is the case isn't padded or very thick. If you're very rough with your stuff or prone to dropping things this might not be the case for you. If you don't want the extra bulk and need something to keep the screen from getting scratched by your keys or other objects when transporting in a bag or briefcase this is the case for you.

Magnets fell out, plastic around tablet just broke off removing tablet, but still usable. If you can put it in the case and never remove it, it will be better. Makes it hard to take pictures, open it covers the camera, closed you can't see anything, so ok review, just ok

Product description and pictures were not accurate. The case was about half an inch too big and did not fit the Samsung tablet SM-T580, in addition the cover was too flimsy, it was not able to hold the tablet up at all as shown in the pictures.

I love this case! It has protected my tablet perfectly for 6+months. I love that when you open/close it, it wakes up/puts to sleep. For the price, I think this is the best case for the Galaxy Tab A (SM-T580)
