This book does not disappoint. First - it is short (52 pages), concise and straightforward.My friend's son is now a sophomore in college and has been struggling with two of his classes, which are both research and writing heavy. When I saw that Scribendi had released this ebook - I figured I'd check it out and see if it could help. Well - an hour later, I've already purchased another copy for him. It has much better, concise advise than I could give myself.So - struggling with essay or other academic writing? Spend $2.99 and invest a few minutes :)As a side note - I've also picked up their ebook on blog writing (http://www.amazon.com/How-Write-Essay-ebook/dp/B00BUZ3BY6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1363458532) - since that's where I could use the help.

This is a good guide to essay form and structure. Also good information on research and citing sources. The book is well laid out so the information is easy to find.

This book is excellent

I love this book, its a guide to learning how to write essays and I think every new college student even high school students could benifit from this book. Its great to have it as a kindle addition so that you can have it everywhere you go. Well worth purchasing. if you already know how to write essays then you will not need it but I still recommend it to fall back on if you want reassurance you are following the steps to an awesome essay.

A book like this should have practice exercises that guide the reader through each concept. Unfortunately, this book does not provide the reader with the opportunity to practice the techniques discussed in each of its sections. The practice is the art of perfection—thus, the reader deserves the chance of practicing the concepts taught by the book through exercises.

I ordered this book--with the title How to Write an Essay in Five Easy steps, and when the work appeared on my i-Pad and phone, the title page was right, but the content was for How to Write a Blog. An aide on the Amazon helpline worked with this problem for about 45 minutes and found the same issue--which he could not resolve. I received a refund, but I really wanted the right book contents. I am hopeful that Amazon will figure out why one title page appears with the content from another book. Maybe I will have a five-star review for the correct content!

I enjoy writing for pleasure but I now have to write for a grade. I suspected there was something particular in style that would be expected but I needed a more in depth explanation than I have found from casual references.This e-book was just what I was looking for, to the point, now I am up for the challenge and eager to write.

I have always trouble with the essay format. Always wondering what to write or what not to write. This guide cleared things up nicely...
