AAGUT 2" Stem Casters, 5/16" x 18 x 1 Swivel Caster No Noise Set of 4

I needed wheels for a pressure-treated pine table that I made. I opted to use these threaded stem casters. They require a 1/2 in. drill bit to place the stems that will receive the 3/8 casters, rather than, say, the more typical swivel plate casters that would use 4 small screws at the corners. Because my table legs are made of soft pine, I was nervous that drilling a swivel plate into the four outside corners might split the wood. I'm happy with my decision, and these casters work well. They roll smoothly and lock in place with a gentle push of your foot.

These casters (M8x25mm Stem) fit the IKEA OMAR shelving perfectly and are easy to install. They appear to be sturdy and roll well. They could do with a bit more friction on the wheels though.... it is pretty easy to slide across hardwood floor even when the wheels are locked. Overall, they are functional, appear to be sturdy and are perfect for my use case.

I wanted a "step on" lock, not a "rocker" one. Why? It's way easier to step on "barefoot" and it stays in place. I can unlock easily as well, in socks. (doing either is shoes is easy as well, but I am a socks kinda gal) Allbrands. com had wheels for my Grace for $89 for 6. I paid about $41 for 8 and am most pleased. (not decided what I will do with addition 2 wheels, but I am certain, I will use them in the future). Wheel size is perfect, installation was a breeze and most importantly, they fit exactly in my Grace. (had to size them right by making a trip to the big box and fitting the threads)

Absolutely fantastic! I no longer have to lug all of my shop machines around the shop when needed; after looking at the many options available and space considerations, I found these small locking casters. They roll smoothly with the weight of all of my machines, they're quiet, and when in the operational mode, they all have a lock that is effortlessly engaged or disengaged with the touch of my toe. Compared with all the other options out there, I am more than happy I chose these little guys. Since purchasing my first pair, I have purchased three additional sets making all of my equipment easier to access and use.

One of my caster wheels on my craftsman creeper seat started having damaged threads and will no longer thread to the seat after years of using it. I measured the thread pitch and it matches with this product. Installation is straight forward. Wheels feel smooth and sit lower than the original which I actually prefer because the overall height of the seat is a bit taller than the average creeper seat. The only issue I have with these caster wheels would be the locking mechanism, it hits the lower storage plate mounted at the bottom so a spacer/washer is recommended before installing them.

Does the job, quality seems OK.

They do the job on a smooth concrete (not cement) floor. I’m not sure how they would do in a rougher surface but they are working great for me.
