Great quality product, worked like a champ. Helped me out of a jam with an early Mercedes hydraulic convertible top. Had a hydraulic line snap off near a cylinder, cannot replace just a line, have to buy entire cylinder ($500). Fit the line perfectly, worked flawlessly, no leak, and compact enough to not cause a problem.

If you have never used a compression fitting you should do a bit of research on YT. Make sure the sleeve is facing the correct direction, clean off the material, use PTFE tape (yellow for gas). Worked well.

I know this not a canonical use but i have used it to fix an old ikea track light which had its plastic nuts break, the ones that attach it to the wall. With its parallel threads and just right tubing od, this compression coupler fit right on, with some longer bolts and some washers. It's not as snug as the original mounts but saved me from replacing a fixture. The key here is parallel threads. The rest could be drilled out if needed, but there was no need. The nut goes on the wall, the body - on the lamp.
