Cutting head is large because it's meant to cut up to 2 inch diameter so it's not ideal for tight quarters cutting. It's more for fresh assembly. Balance is acceptable for a Right handed person but it could be better. Balance is a little off for left handers but it is still functional. The safety switch is also better placed for right handers than left. Not a truly ambidextrous tool but definitely useable.
