My first foray into purchasing and cooking with anchovies. I didn't want a large amount in case I don't use them quick enough. Jar is smaller than I anticipated but should be enough for now. Quality appears good but have not used them yet. I'll update y'all later.

These anchovies are good for cookery. They are head/tail-less without skin, but they retain the tiniest bones, of course, that others do. I've moved on and am purchasing another brand, though, because I feel the price is too high. If you can find cheaper, do so.

The four glass jars arrived intact -- no dings or dents in the lids, no leaks -- individually wrapped in bubble wrap, then taped together for extra security. The flavor of the fillets is full, rich and deep, with a nice hint of smokiness. Of course very salty, but anchovy lovers know this. I use in sauces, casseroles, side dishes, soups, Caesar salad dressing, and pizza, all of which require some salt for fullest flavor. The benefit is that I don't need to add salt; I've got it already in the dish. These are some of the most delicious anchovies I have ever come across. You can taste the craftsmanship that went into them, the flavor is so balanced, with a sweetness that lingers on the tongue. The dainty little glass jars ensure cleanest taste with minimal chemical or metallic intrusions. Once empty, they can be cleaned and re-used for a multitude of purposes... you add nothing to the landfill! What's not to love?

Received an opened bottle. The top was already popped up (so when you push the top of the lid, it gives a little/pops up and down) and it did not have any plastic wrap of any sort. What kind of quality control does this company have? None. Once opened, the bottom of the lid was full of rusts as well. Surprise, not really. No returns are accepted of course. Zero stars. Horrible quality; bellino and amazon basically robbed me today. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TYPE OF COMPANY. We don’t live in a kumbaya world where we can trust anybody or anything so bellino needs to do a better job of quality control. Get your together bellino and Amazon needs to accept returns on stuff like this. You need to take the hit, not the customers. Learned my lesson, never buying anything edible on amazon.

Delicious. I will be buying my anchovies in the bottle from now on and from this company. It was quadruple packaged. Trying to figure out other uses for anchovies that I would like because I like these so much.

Have not tasted yet! This review concerns packaging. The two jars were not packed properly. Oil leaked out, not much but messy! Had to rinse bottles under hot water to degrease. Packaging: not nearly enough paper packing to prevent jars from jostling in transit. Jars not individually bubble wrapped. Just one thin layer around both jars together-- not individually wrapped. (the Ortiz brand were individually wrapped, see pic). As the caps not sealed either around rim or on top of bottle after cap opened, extra care should have been taken to prevent leakage. Also, there are no labels on the jars, just Bellino lids. This is standard bottling I guess? My Ortiz brand anchovies caps and tops also had no seals, but they were packaged properly in shipping box and had labels on front of jar and a security tab extending over cap to ensure seal not broken.

i received the jar that wasent sealed and the jar had been opened. I notified the seller of this and heard nothing back

Advertised as 12 x 4 1/2 oz jars, but when you receive it, there’s only one jar in the box. Not worh the risk to buy at $41.

The posting says " 12 x 4.25 jars". there is only 1 jar. Product OK, but short quantity

It states 12×4,25 Oz..When it arrived there was 1, for $35+. Very dissatisfied.
