Magic Mouse Ergonomic Cushion (MMFIX)

I really wanted to love this thing. If you use an Apple Magic mouse you know that it's not just not designed to be used for more than an hour without becoming uncomfortable, but no other mouse has the same features, so you can't really replace it.I wanted something to make using the magic mouse more comfortable, this came up so I purchased it. Unfortunately, no matter what I do I cannot get it to stay in place on the mouse. I have washed the surface of the mouse with industrial window cleaner to be sure there was no possible oils left on it. I washed this silicone cushion in Dawn dish soap and let it air dry and then applied it. It stays in place good for about 20 minutes and then starts to slowly slide around again.My magic mouse was literally almost brand new (1 week old) wen I bought the cushion so I don't think it's not staying in place due to surface scratches. Maybe the "soft" feel of the silicone is the issue, perhaps a more sticky feeling silicone on the suction cup would work better, I don't know.I still use this cushion, but I have to readjust is multiple times in an hour. It does offer somewhat of a more ergonomic feel to the mouse while using it, but it's not anything great, and I'd likely not purchase it again.I think this cushion needs to be a little bit longer and stick better. I'm still on the hunt for something that makes my magic mouse more comfortable.I give this product 3 stars for the great idea, and the fact that with a little improvement it could possibly be great.

Just got the Magic Mouse Cushion today and after been using It for hours My biggish hands have a much better grip plus they don't get quite as fatigued as they used to. While I think The Magic mouse Is the best built in the business Its slim flat profile makes it very uncomfortable to use for long periods of time The Magic Mouse Ergonomic Cushion seems to solve the problem. After Using this a couple of months It has helped a lot but It does not stay on the mouse without lots of effort from me every day and I find it pretty annoying so five stars to 3 stars until maker comes up with fix.

As others have said, it won’t stay in place. It’s constantly slipping around and falling off. I knew this ahead of time and thought I could deal with it, but I should have just listened.Don’t purchase this until the seller decides to update the design. Obviously there’s a major flaw with the material/suction cup. Obviously. We all see it, we all experience it. It’s very annoying that it just won’t stay in place.You could say, “it’s a suction cup, it’s not gonna be a permanent attachment”. And then I would explain how it doesn’t even stay for 30 minutes of use. It would be one thing if a few times a week I had to adjust it, but this thing can’t go an hour without sliding around and falling off. It’s so annoying it’s not worth it.

Alright, I took a chance on this thing even given the bad reviews about the suction power. I have large hands but love the mouse, so this HAS to work on some level, right? I tried accepting the terrible suction but became increasingly frustrated with it falling off under my hands every 10 minutes. Then I had an idea. I got a small amount of JB weld and put it on the cup before installing. Waited 24 hours and now this thing is a beast! I wish there was a better way to keep it secure but my method shall work for what I need it for. Permanently.

I’ve only been using this for about a week now, but it makes using my Magic Mouse for extended periods WAY more comfortable. I’m on my computer a LOT and I’ve always had an issue with the Magic Mouse being too flat, but this has really reduced the amount of hand cramping I get since I’ve started using it. The actual product is really discreet and fits in my hand well, and I haven’t had any issues with it not suctioning properly to the mouse.

Like the other reviews say, the suction cup alone will not hold the item in place longer than a few minutes. A few dabs of Gorilla Glue to hold it in place and works as described. I use it with the thick end on the back of the mouse and feel so much better using the mouse for entire workdays.

Also would not stay in place on the mouse very well. just went with a standard gaming mouse by Logitech.
