My rats and chins love it. You have to hang it somewhere so they can climb to get it, it helps with their enrichment. Our rats climb the walls to get into their tube and are greeted with this stone at the other end. Our chinnie that has pretty long teeth (we rescued her a month ago) chews on this which is awesome because she wasn't interested in anything else and probably was never offered anything like this in her life. Perfect for trimming teeth down. Glad they don't have color, but wish they were bigger so we can use them as ledges.

I've purchased these in the past and wasn't impressed but it's hard to find actual lava that chins like to chew on. I bought these last month and literally within 2 minutes of giving it to my chinchilla, it was in a pile of crumbs around her. When I took one out of the package, it broke in half as well as small pieces fell off the sides. I will NOT purchase these again. Being they are so short lived, I believe I have 2 left. If I can edit this review I will be happy to add a picture or video another time.

The media could not be loaded.  MESSY MESSY MESSY!!!Okay well... all lava blocks are messy but just by dropping this a couple of times (low distance off the floor) little white pieces were everywhere! The diameters of this block is:Length - 6.8 cmWidth - 2.75 cmHeight - 2 cm (which is really thick and I love it)I recommend not using this on top of a fleece cover if you have one. For easier cleaning, I would put it on top of a wooden ledge or shelf.Hand reference and finger reference attached.They do not smell like anything which is great because I can rest assured that these are not poisonous.For the price it was pretty good. But for $9 I believe it should include more. That is just my personal opinion!

These are great little lava rocks. Neat shape, easy for Chinchillas to hold in their little hands. They don't just chew the corners off and make a ball that they can't chew, unlike the perfectly squared lava blocks. These do come individually wrapped in plastic so you must use small scissors to unwrap them before giving them to your little buddies. Easy enough.Definitely get a bunch, if you are going to give one a day or if you have multiple fuzzy buddies. They will tear through them pretty quick and look completely satisfied while doing so.

The flower-shaped bites immediate disintegrated after my degus took few bites. This happened to each so I gave up and returned the rest.

My chinchilla absolutely LOVES these things! She usually tries to roll on her new ones like she's dust-bathing, and she completely obliterates them within a few days! I really like that they're individually packaged.

The wood beads were moldy, and the metal and bells were rusted so I will be returning it. They need to do something about how they are packing them. Either they are bagging them moist, or moisture is getting in the bags. I will never order these again.

this was my first time buying this one specifically and the blocks are absolutely punychinchilla enjoys it so i guess it's okay, I wont be ordering again though i need a bigger size
