The Word of Promise Audio Bible—New King James Version, NKJV: Complete Bible

An incredible blessing from God. I love the dramatized version with the music and the sounds in the background. Yet it keeps the scripture fully intact and nothing is modified. This is wonderful for listening in my car or while I sit on my patio in the sun. It is an awesome tool for learning and knowing scripture. Not only should we listen to the scripture but we should read it as well.

This is awesome. Bible comes to life. Kind of like the old radio shows back in the days. Great to know which actors are Christians-following their movies. For those who struggle reading their bibles-this is a great option. Put it on during chores, quite time, morning coffee, night downtime....

Randy. Was a truck driver and got this for while driving. Excellent. Now I just play it while relaxing. It is read by actors with their talent making it sound great, plus with sound effects.worth every penny.

This is a good dramatization of the Bible

In this time on Planet Earth, a wilderness of streaming media comes at us from so many different sources. It is definitely 5 Stars to have the Word of God read to you in Dramatic Fashion. From children's videos to Pornography and Murders, A buffet of media is available to whoever would dare click on all of what is available to watch or listen. However, This collection, The WORD of PROMISE, is a great have in the journey of keeping a sound mind in a lost world. I like the CD's for their high bit rate. I will convert them to audio files and upload them to my iPhone. That way I can listen to them wherever I go in high bit rate. For this reason the CD version (non-mp3 version) is A+.

Got this for my in-laws and they are enjoying listing. Especially as he is blind. I have the digital version on my phone and listen daily.

I absolutely love this and it is professionally done. It adds so much to just reading and the sounds in the background bring it to life. You even hear the creaking of a door, pouring of water, etc. I play it when I'm cooking or take it to the beach, in my car, wherever. The voice of God the Father is so perfect! You hear strength, power, yet tenderness and is wonderfully done. I didn't give it 5 stars only because I have a hard time with the voice of Peter the apostle. For me, at least, he sounds way to polished, and not at all like the gruff, outspoken fisherman the bible portrays him to be. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this outstanding product and it is well worth the money.
