Adheres very quickly and doesn't require a lot of heat.

I don't have previous experience with other brands. I found this very easy to use. I bought the walnut and the maple. The walnut was very nice to use. Zero issues with the glue unless I moved a piece. Glue does tend to roll off or scrape off easily when it is warm. I have seen a seam deeper in the roll but have not encountered one yet. I can't say the same for the maple that I ordered. Another reviewer mention the color. This is true walnut. I am comparing to all walnut I have ever seen or used from the North East US. Black walnut wood stain is not. If you are looking for walnut, this is it, if you are trying to match black walnut wood stain you may want to stain this. Dry wood, especially darker dry wood, always appears lighter until a finish is applied. Oil a sample before you jump to stain.

Excellent match to the walnut color on our Barker cabinets. The edging ironed on easily, and the adhesive strength is great. Cannot even notice where I ironed the edging to the molding on the cabinets.

Good looking but the adhesion is really bad. I tried adhering it onto the veneers of plywood and it just didn’t stick very well. The material is great but it becomes redundant if it can’t actually band to the surface you want

This is an affordable source of veneer for miniature making. I use balsa wood to make furniture because balsa wood is easy to work with. Unfortunately, balsa wood is soft and my pieces could be easily damaged. Applying the veneer gives the pieces a tough exterior and looks authentic. The wide width is perfect for various miniature needs. The grain is tight which is great for miniature scale. However, the grain is not consistently straight throughout the roll but it didn't affect it's usefulness for me. I will be buying more.

I didn't use this for any furniture or marquetry project. I am working on a highly detailed and period-perfect dollhouse. I couldn't find any flooring that suited and looked perfect. I'm not one of those lolly-stick floor miniaturists. It had to be perfect. This stuff is perfect. I can cut it easily, fit it around room elements like hearths and stairways. It's the right colour. It's thin, so it doesn't add bulk, and because of being a stickler for scale, I didn't want anything bulky. (so no lolly-sticks). It irons down with a clover tool just perfectly, and because it's real wood, I can distress it to suit. THANK YOU!

Overall the edge banding is really good and great value for the money. I've order walnut edge banding multiple times. I've noticed the number of splices in the edge banding can vary somewhat significantly but the splices are done well and hard to notice once applied.

I built slide lids for wood block kits using the veneer for aesthetics. Was easy to do and worked great in my opinion. The heat activated adhesive holds very well.

Pros: good quality veneer, pre-glued adhesive, easy to work with. Cons: Slightly wider than expected, colour wasn't a match for my wood. Really liked this edge banding! The roll itself is great quality and the preglued backing works well. However, for my specific project, the edging turned out to be a little too wide, and the walnut color didn't quite match what I was trying to blend it with. Still a solid, good-quality product—just make sure to double-check your width measurements and colour tone before ordering!

Worked really well and stuck easily with an iron! Also soaked up stain to a perfect match!
