water pressure is great, fits on faucet well, worth the money for easy way to filter tap water for drinking, looks nice too. used it to replace older black model used up.

The filter works well. Water tastes better.

I have used Britta because of the reputation it has but the last time I ordered a Britta faucet system, it leaked no matter how low I put the pressure.. I had a lot of problems with it working.. Ended up using a spare filter I had (it was even a different color than the installed system) and when it was done, took a chance on the PUR system. Sooo much easier to install! It's a bit bulky because the filter goes in a big capsule. It's really easy to install, just twist open the capsule, put filter in, press in until it clicks and that's it, you're done! I bought additional filters and I am very happy with the purchase.

I previously used a similar product from Brita, so any comparisons will be to that brand. - Installation was easy. Unscrew the aerator from the faucet, screw on the appropriate adapter, click the filter unit onto the adapter, and done! A little simpler than Brita, the click on installation did not require properly lining up threads and turning a ring until it was screwed all the way on. - Appearance is quite similar to the Brita, no major differences. - Filter status light is easier to see than the Brita being on the front of the unit rather than the top, and actually using flashing lights. - Water flow through the filter seems significantly slower than through the Brita, especially noticeable when filling something like a one gallon pitcher. - It leaks? When bypassing the filter and running water straight through in to a humidifier tank it appears that water is still trickling out of the filter outlet then running down the bottom of the unit and dripping all over the tank I am filling. I then have to carry the wet, dripping tanks through my house. Not a fan. - Tap/Filtered water selector switch at back of unit is far easier to operate than that on the Brita but seems super cheap and easily breakable. That's likely caused by the pivot point being on an end of the lever rather than the center. I fully expect that I will end up breaking the lever off either through accidental contact while washing dishes, or by simply turning it a little too far.

Our old filter was ready for replacement so we picked pure Plus and you can immediately tell the difference it does run a little slower through the filter but that's okay as long as the water is clean and it is and it doesn't have any color which is a plus and it doesn't have any bad flavors you can't taste any chlorine or anything other than just clean water we are very happy to have it that's why we have five stars and we will continue to use it until we find something better which I don't see how we could

We have been using these filters for years. We can taste the difference!

We have had a PUR water filtration system on our kitchen facet for years. I had to change out the kitchen facet, consequently the adapters had to be changed out. This is when the problems started. PUR sent me new adapters, BUT the filtration system leaked at the new (plastic) adapter. It NEVER leaked with the previous (metal) adapter. I could not use the metal adapter because the mating interfaces are different from my older facet. So, since the filtration system was 5 years old, I thought it was time I buy a new system. Perhaps the locking ring was the problem. Installed the new filtration system, had the SAME problems, spraying leak with the adapter PUR sent me. So, I attached the new adapter that came with the new filtration system. Leaks got worse. Put the adapter that PUR sent me, back into the facet, and SLOOOOWLY turned on the water. No leaks. Switched to the filter side, and it developed a spraying leak. I turned off the facet, I then turned it on very SLOOOWLY, and the filter side didn't leak. After testing it for several minutes, I found turning the facet on fast with the filter side turned on produces a spraying leak, turning it on slowly and there isn't a leak. I'm thinking the rubber washer is either stiff or can't handle sudden pressure changes. The old adapter was a metal fitting; the new one is plastic. If I didn't have six new filters sitting in my cabinet, I would probably try another manufacturer, I don't see this filtration system or the adapter lasting more than a year. I see Amazon has companies that sell metal adapters, it's crazy to have to buy another company's facet adapters because the OEM adapters LEAK. Decreasing quality, perhaps the plastic adapters always leaked as opposed the metal one we used for years. NOTE: the instructions say to FINGER tighten the adapter. Doing that led to leaks at the facet/adapter interface. Adjustable pliers helped tighten up that problem.

Just installed! Maybe 5 minutes! The installation is a breeze compared to the Brita chrome. The Britas filter easily pops off with button engage.( happened twice, water everywhere). The switch to filter water is so easy compared to the Brita filter as well. Our switch actually broke off from engaging because it was so hard to turn. Very happy!

Easy to instal and really functional

We like everything about this product: easy to instal, great design and does a great job. It is wonderful to be able to drink tap water again. It arrived in a timely fashion and we are very happy with it.

I did not receive adapters for faucet in order to fit Pur onto it. It did not even come in the original box.
