Was sceptical about these due to the price but they're worth paying extra for. Good glasses, fairly sturdy and amazingly slim. Great for nights out with a small bag

They are quite delicate but so easy to have in a back pocket. Ideal for nights out/restaurants etc.

These are great. I have had many a night embarrassed not being able to read the menu so these extremely thin glasses are a lifesaver. Can slip them in pocket easily. Not expensive given their quality of production. Highly recommend.

Update:2022-07 They have a new case that is great. The metal frames make for a sturdier build than other full plastic brands which break at the mountain screw. Original 2018 review: Poorly designed opening mechanism. There should be two protruding parts (top and bottom) instead of one (Top) that are slightly offset to allow opening with two fingers. Thinopticks have other types (folding with sliding case) which are much quicker to manipulate. They designed it like a thick hardcase where one had firmly grips the thick bottom half while the other lifts open the top at the bulge in the middle. But it does not work because top and bottom are ultra thin offering no grip.

Can I over state how flat and compact these glasses are yet when you wear them no one would think of them as a compact alternative. I used to carry a set as a backup because they were so compact but they've become my primary because I like them so much and prefer them over other reading glasses.

I use them at restaurants and shopping. Easy to use and compact to carry.
