Fun for kids. Got for all my nieces and they loved opening them. Not very big and you can tell the pearls are are just stuck in for you don’t need to hunt for them and not even close to the quality ones I did in Hawaii marketplace or other venues but these are so cheap and fun for the kids! Little colored pearls are pretty too. 5 stars for being priced right!!

The pearls I received were as the picture showed. The oyster was opened previous which I do not mind, as the pearls appear to be authentic. The luster was good, the shape was mostly round.

All 4 of the oysters were pre cracked and basically fell open once removed from the vacuum seal. There was one single pearl in each oyster and they also fell right out of the shell when opened. I’ve purchased real pearl oysters before in Hawaii and I’ve never come across any like this before. The shells are usually difficult to open and you have to cut the flesh to release the pearl . The quality of the pearls themselves is poor. None of these are round and all 4 have several flaws, such as dimples and/or ridges. I would not recommend this brand to anyone. I bought them for granddaughters and was disappointed. Do your research to avoid these shady business practices.

There are several interesting features listed which led me to buy these pieces. The meat in the shell is non-edible yet one of the features listed was 'scent.' Hopefully, it referred to the meat not stinking, which I was happy about. These pearl shells appear to be cut open, preserved in some chemical, the pearl added to cut flesh, then secured back together, wrapped, and sold to the buyer. The shells I purchased already had the cushion flesh cut with the pearls inserted into the cut flesh form. These shells were assembled not grown, but the price was reasonable with some pleasure of the feeling of actually opening a fresh pearl.

These look like saltwater pearls but again they were glued inside. And were very dried out oysters. Don't believe that the pearls were from these oysters. Big and pretty though

Wondered how do you know what color you’re getting before we get them if they are unopened and the one that should have been a dark color was too toned
