Pleased with this product
I bought this as a result of my 12 year old spaniel starting to lose his sight and struggling with the stairs. I wanted something sturdy enough to put at the top of the stairs at night. The gate is quite heavy to pick up and the feet provide further stability. I am pleased with this purchase.

For those wanna pay much for better quality
Found a huge crack when I first unpacked the item. After feedback to the seller by Amazon message, a prompt and courteous service was provided by the seller who immediately sent a new item (without defects) to me for replacement. The overall quality is good. For other buyers’ information, sending email to the customer service (suggested by a notice packed with the item) is a bad idea because no one will reply it.

Very Versatile
We haven't got banisters on our stairs so cannot use a stair gate. We have adopted a rescue ex breeding dog, medium size, which is approx 5 years old, very long legs, about 24' tall but can stretch a lot! This gate has been better than I imagined. We can angle it in different ways to block the stairs off and front door. As we are house training her we needed to not give her free access to the garden, so we were able to block off the back garden french door but have the door open in the heatwave. We bought three panels and this is enough to manoeuvre across various things. It's sturdier than I thought it would be.

Simple and useful but poor quality and overpriced
This is a good idea, I really wanted a barrier i could move and use in some different spaces. Unfortunately what I received has veneer coming off in places from day 1 (see photo) and it is not unbreachable, so £120 was a lot to spend!! My 6 month old pup figured out very quickly how to nudge the sides out to squeeze by into living room. She has not managed to to same at stairs. We'll continue to play with the configuration and I guess we'll tape down the veneer which feels pretty shabby and cheap.

Not very sturdy
This is ok at best for a pet gate. The feet of the gate should have rubber on the bottom to make the gate move less, but they've got plastic feet, which means on wooden floor, the gates just slide around. The more expensive gates have much larger heavier feet than this one. I wouldn't recommend it.

Sturdy and flexible - you can feel the quality
The first thing you note about this product is how sturdy it is. We use this for our Maltipoo puppy and my main concern was that it would be thin and flimsy but that is not the case at all, the wood is thick, sturdy and it stands up well, stabilized by two detachable bases that you can place in different slots. You can also use this fence for a whole variety of things. We fully extend it so that it covers the entrance to our stairwell (which is quite wide) and half fold it when we need to block our hallway (which is narrower). We also use it sometimes to temporarily cordon off the puppy in an area whilst we leave the room. The puppy is not distressed as she can look through the slots at us.Overall I would say that this is a high quality product made from good materials, it does the job and looks great in our flat. Whilst the price did make me raise my eyebrows initially I believe you get what you pay for and I do not regret paying what I did for this product.

Brill product, sturdy, tall and looks nice (unlike others) 5*
Brill product, nice and tall so our dog can't jump over, sturdy when just stood with the sections at angles but the legs are great if you need extra stability. Easily opens either way and feels sturdy. Also not an eye sore, which is a bonus. 5* thank you
