Imperial Histories 2 *OP

The constant high quality that AEG aims for is applaudable and it is only from years of work at a library that I down rate this wonderful book. It could have been 5 stars if, there were no gramatical or layout errors and they didn't recycle artwork.The actual meat of the product, ideas, settings and new information is outstanding and it is a pleasure to see that input from fans of their products is considered and featured.There is no 4.9 stars which is hair splitting I know but if you want 5 stars, Proof your copy before print!Now go ahead and pick apart my review for proofing errors, I can take it.

This sequel to "Imperial Histories" gives more in depth information to the background of the histories of Rokugan, as well as its future and alternate timelines. The book is well written with beautiful artwork, even if you don't use the L5R 4E, this is an awesome resource for the D20 version of the setting! Hopefully AEG finally updates us with more tidbits of the rest of the world of the L5R settings. I really want to know more about the land beyond the Rokugan Empire and the Burning Sands.

Ok if you're gonna play Legend of the 5 rings but wanna play around with the setting's history this is the book you need.It shows you all sorts of turning points in the history and once you've read it you start to get a feel for how to mix and match, or even make your own modifications.Plus Iron Rokugan is awesome: SHOTGUNS ADN SAMURAI!

It arrived in great shape, and the content is great for filling out and expanding any L5R campaign, assuming your interested in using the various pieces of history. Artwork is fantastic, as usual, and the binding on my copy has remained solid, and I have had this book for several months by the time I wrote this review.

Didnt really flush out all the scenarios they put into the book. they should have done a better job with giving more information on those scenarious

Full of more ideas for setting and time periods. Adds a lot of depth. Even useful for expanding what is already out there.

Beautiful artwork, however, this isn't a must need if you're running L5R. It's a good book if you plan on running in a different timeline.

Expanded timeline information, giving you more options on when and where to run your games, and ideas on the political and military climates of each era.Definitely worth investing in!
