GREAT, comfortable, stylish wedge sandal!
I really was just looking for a trendy wedge sandal and am thrilled to have found these! They look spectacular, are versatile and are amazingly comfortable. BUT as many of the reviews state, they run both narrow and short. I normally wear an 8.5, so ordered a 9. I have an average to narrow foot and the 9 just fit and we’re snug, but not to the point of being uncomfortable; HOWEVER, I would advise if you have a time crunch, size up AND order several size options. I didn’t have time, so wore the 9 and it was fine, but would’ve liked to have tried a 9.5. Regardless, these sandals are worth the effort. They are light weight, beautiful, and were consistently comfortable for hours, two nights back to back. I will probably order them in black as well and will wear both to work in a legal office. I gave these 5 stars in spite of the sizing issue, I love them that much.

Best Sandals All Around: Style & Comfort
I have purchased these sandals in almost all the colors available by now. Finding summer sandals that are both - stylish and comfortable - is no small matter. I am an executive and during the more business casual summer dress policy - very grateful for that! - I wear those with ease every day. I also have to walk long distances and have an old injury in one of my foot, which usually would not allow me to walk around without tennis shoes. These sandals - because of the generous and supportive heel provides ample cushion . As a professional woman I am very keen on finding shoes that are comfortable and are also stylish. I no longer believe in destroying my feet’s health. So, THANK YOU, Clark’s for coming up with these sandals! Keep up the good work! Would love to see this model in more suede colors other than black and tan! Well worth the price!

Wedges + Clarks = lightweight & comfortable (but run a little small)
Super cute wedge sandals by Clarks, so you know they'll be comfortable, plus they have an adjustable strap (w/ Velcro) near the heel. IMO they ran small in size (a teensy bit narrow in width and length). I typically wear a 7.5 US in anything I'd wear without socks, and they are snug. They're not leather, so they won't relax after wearing them for awhile. In hindsight, I should have returned them and ordered a size 8 US, but they're still great for a solid half to three quarters of a day of wear. The angle of the heel really is slight when you take into account the platform of the entire shoe, so my feet were fairly happy walking around in them at a day-long convention. Just a little snug, but no rubbing, so no blisters. Overall: I highly suggest ordering up a half-size, and I highly recommend these wedges : )

Please read this review for sizing!!!
OK Peeps, the sizing on this is way off, like so many people said, but I thought because I'm a very regular size (and tried three different ones before I got it right) I'd write a review. Also, they are awesome if you get your correct size. First I ordered an 8 1/2 (I'm usually an 8 or 8 1/2). It was so tiny and narrow I literally couldn't fit my foot down into it. Not even my toes. Sooo, I ordered a 10 W. This was about the right length, but way too wide. Fianlly, I ordered a 9 1/2, one size bigger than the original one and it fits perfectly! I can't believe just one size would make a difference with how tiny the 8 1/2 was, but its perfect. They are cute, comfy (I'm on my feet all day) and stylish. My siggestion...if you wear wide, get a wide one size up. If you don't get one size up from your normal "biggest" size. (For me I was an 8-8 1/2 usually, so a 9 1/2 was perfect)

Comfortable for Hours
I needed a pair of dress shoes for church, and I really had a hard time finding a pair in black, that were comfortable enough to wear while dealing with the heel pain of plantar fasciitis. I read the reviews on these shoes and decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did! I am a firm size 7 and these fit me to a tee. I'm short and appreciate higher heels, but I can't tolerate shoes with high heels unless they are a platform style, like these. The black material is a faux suede and it does stretch slightly, which adds to the comfort. There is a strap that Velcro's behind the heel, and I like the ability to adjust it to a tighter or looser fit. Although the heels are 3", they are super comfortable to wear! I wore these for 4 hours today, with more than half of that time being on my feet, and I could have gone many more hours in these shoes. Extremely comfortable. They are SUPER light weight, and I did find myself stubbing my toes on carpet - probably because I am not used to wearing such high heels and the fact that they are so lightweight. I soon got used to this however, and it's not an issue. The insole is nicely padded and provides the quality that I have come to expect from Clark's shoes. The bottoms are not slippery at all, and should be good this winter if there is any snow or ice in my path to church. I really don't have anything negative to say about these shoes, other than the fact that I have to be careful when putting them on if I am wearing nylons, because the Velcro can easily catch on nylons and put a run in them - but any shoe with a Velcro closure can cause this to occur. Still, I would rather have Velcro than a buckle any day. I think these are a terrific value.

Defective manufacturing
I was trying to replace these same shoes that I bought about 5 years ago…as they were a perfect summer sandal…comfortable and went with everything…got a new pair in February and they had changed the material that the straps were made out of and they were off on the sizing from my previous pair. So I returned them for a pair that was a half of a size bigger. They arrived a week later and fit much better so I put them in the closet to take on our cruise in April. Within an hour of wearing them I realized that my right heel kept falling off the side of the shoes. So I adjusted the only strap and tried again. Same thing. No matter the adjustment my right heel-and only my right heel-will not stay on the shoe straight. So I had my husband (an engineer) look at them and he noticed that the straps on the left shoe were sewn on completely differently than the straps on the right shoe. So I went to return them when I arrived home from vacation and the return window was closed. I intend to do a t Clark’s next.

BASE IS TOO NARROW
These shoes are ok, and they have the potential to be great but the soles are oddly narrow. I did not realize this when I purchased them because the photograph showing the bottom of the shoe suggests that the bottom is fuller due to the illusion that the base and bottom are all one thing. The actual bottom of the shoe is the width of the rubber dark shape. The reason this matters is because it provides a very narrow base for the shoe (almost like walking on a roller blade) and you don't feel on completely solid ground when you step. When you see the shoe in profile, it looks like you are standing in a very supportive base, but the angle rests on a narrow ledge. I can see myself twisting my ankle in these if I don't step very carefully. The whole point in getting a wedge sandal to me is to have a comfortable walking shoe, not a "high heel" that one needs to carefully teeter about on. I plan to keep them and just wear them occasionally, but Clark's should do better and design shoes that are more supportive and stable and not likely to cause the wearer injury.

The best shoes I own
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a pair of shoes - usually I limit myself to maybe $50 and below. They are just shoes right? WRONG! I have never owned such an amazing pair of shoes. I wore these for the first time during a three-day business meeting where I was running around a hotel like a chicken with my head cut off, standing, walking and sprinting to take care of everything that needed taking care of. I even wore them on a little walk after my meetings concluded! My feet didn’t hurt one time and I wore them for 3 days straight. I packed other sandals just in case, but didn’t even need them, in my suitcase they stayed! I am a 9.5 in most shoes and sometimes a 9 in heels. I hemmed and hawed about what size to get for days. I bought a 9.5 in these and they fit like a glove. The height is lovely and color is perfect (I got neutral). Wore them with a skirt, dress pants, and jeans. I have an issue with sweaty feet and was worried my feet would slide forward and cause me to trip. But the padding kept that at bay and my feet were fine! Since I am 5’7” I don’t want tall heels but these are a good height to be “dressy.” They are comfortable enough that it honestly feels like you are wearing sneakers. It is some sort of magic. The price was steep for me personally but I am glad I treated myself. Now I just need another three-day event to justify buying another pair in a different color. Lol.
