RWBY: Volume 1 NTSC

This is a condensed version of the TV series, where basically all the episodes from season 1 are linked together without credits or theme in between. Much better format to binge watch the series. Show is a very general action series about 4 girls and their friends and how they protect the world. Despite the characters being all female, show is enjoyable for either gender. Looks like anime, but it isn't. What makes this show good is that the characters are genuninely good and the show is upbeat. Reminds people about the goodness in life. I'd argue that people who like pokemon (the show) would definitely enjoy this show.

Still love RWBY and this collection of the episodes is a good blu ray pack. Glad the official episodes released after seemingly vanishing

Wow. Story was interesting, though I had instances when I was like: "...umm, they should have done this or that," but later I was like: "who!, so that is so huh;" and it was like totally continuing to be interesting. From the start of the movie, well, even from the trailer; M.M.O. -like characteristics. ... if they could combine something like the 'Final Fantasy Dirge Of Cerberus' story-length like with like the 'TERA''s battle style combination... I think it won't be too bad... but anyway. Nice movie 8.55/10.00 I recommend this movie/video to anime/action/adventure/fantasy admirers. thanks

I love RWBY, Yang is my favorite character out of everything possible to watch. Volumes 1-3 are in my opinion the Pinnacle of rwby, when Monty Oum was still alive and in charge of rwby. After he passed, characters had a 180 in personality and plotlines were abandoned. Most fans agree the early volumes (usually 1-3) are the best parts of rwby. I really wish Viz Media picked new writers to handle rwby now that rooster teeth is shut down and Monty is gone. Thank you Viz Media for releasing blu-rays of rwby and may Jesus Christ be with you.

Perhaps it’s just bias but I absolutely love RWBY, it pulled me out of a very dark time and I absolutely fell in love with the story and combat focused series. I couldn’t find a way to watch it legitimately and had to turn to YouTube and ads were annoying, once I saw this was coming out I knew I had to preorder it, I’m rewatching the series for a third time!

What can I say about RWBY? RWBY is a story set in the world of Remnant. The story follows a group of students in their first semester at Beacon Academy studying to be Hunters and Huntresses, the guardians of Remnant. The four main characters are Team RWBY, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long (RWBY... get it?). Parallels to our childhood fairy tales abound. The artwork is done in poser and follows a kind of reverse of most cartoons, where the characters are detailed and the backgrounds are not as detailed. RWBY kind of reverses that, with characters not as detailed, but rich, colorful backgrounds. What sets series apart from most others is the use of Motion capture technology for character movement. This is most readily apparent in scenes where characters walk or during some of the fight scenes. Add in that the character development is off the scale with a complicated back story. Add in some kiss-butt music from Jeff and Casey Lee Williams and you have a fun filled romp that will keep you riveted to your seat.
