Nice product
Like it so far. It's firm, beefy. Not cheap and flimsy. I reserve 5 stars for companies that put forth that extra effort. This is a quality product at a good price. Will buy from them again

As per previous reviews, the bottom plate isn’t chrome. The wing nut does not fit inside the recessed location on top of the filter. They should improve the wing nut design so that dirt can not get through the hole where the bolt comes through the top plate. Other than that, it is a good looking upgrade.

Give It a Shot...You'll Like It!!!
Well if your looking for a good air filter to let your engine breath this one worth checking out. Soon as I put it on my 1966 Oldsmobile that 425 started roaring at...lol. I did mark it down to 4 stars because just like some of the other reviews the wing nut that it comes with doesn't fit into the recessed portion on the top of the filter so I had to use my stock one but oh well still good filter for the price. I also had to buy the raising spacer rings due to the filter sitting lower than the stock assembly and resting on my HEI distributor...all in all Great purchase!!!

Well made, looks great, works fine, bottom should be chromed
This is a very well-made and good-looking air filter. As someone noted in another review, the bottom plate is not chromed, but as it turned out, my existing air cleaner had a chromed bottom plate that I was able to substitute. I gave 4 stars for value, since the bottom plate should be chromed, but otherwise this is exactly what I was looking for to be able to make my hood scoop functional. Love the top hold down button, which is much better looking than a plain wing-nut. It looks great and appears to work well. Stars for mileage? This isn’t going to have a noticeable effect on mileage unless you are replacing a badly plugged old filter.

Perfect price 👌, woke my tired 350 up
I installed this filter along side the salad bowl mod and a cowl hood induction system and needless to say it added plenty of power and i also get 14 to the gallon on a 31 year old truck.

Looks great on the out side. Definitely not bolt on to a throttle body. There were a couple big gouges on the inside. But other than that looks like a decent product. I will review more once I have fabricated to fit and function test.
