Is this machine right for beginner?

I think this machine is very advanced and would not recommend for a beginner. There are 23 different stitches and along with that comes different threading and settings for each stitch. I had a regular serger for about 25 years and when I started using the Bernette I really had to concentrate hard on learning all about it. I have had it a year now and still am learning, but it is getting easier. I cannot imagine a beginner sewer having an easy time of learning it.

Are there additional presser feet available?

Good afternoon, Yes, there are 6 additional feet available. The ribbon couching foot, elasticator foot, blindstich foot, piping foot, beading/sequin foot, and the gathering foot. will this machine do the chain stitch and overlook at the same time?

No. There is a five minute physical conversion process that needs to take place in order for the machine to engage in either function. Having said that, the back side of the chain stitch looks like an overlock stitch.

Do you have a seam guide plate ,and much is the price?
