A valuable resource for survival
With only scant understanding on the prepper mindset and no firearms experience I dove into this book. What I found was a very interesting look into the mindset of a prepper. This book brought to light many interesting and scary scenarios that I would never have considered had I not read this book. The premise of this book is to be a guide for survival given a scenario where things have gone to hell in your country and the power grid is offline for good; It’s survival of the fittest. Contained in this book is valuable information that could help keep a person alive when faced with this scenario. This book explains in great detail how to keep yourself and your ‘tribe’ alive during a gunfight when faced with a multitude of possible situations. From cold hard firefight squad tactics to valuable field medicine to how to respond to varying active shooter scenarios, this book is can help increase your odds of survival when your world turns upside-down.This book is a very thorough supplement to firearms training when faced with life or death struggles for dwindling resources or merely survival when you can’t count on anyone to come to your aid.

Great starting point for a prepper
First, we'll start with the Pros/Cons:Pros: Very easy read, offers introduction to basic concepts, great starting point for a prepperCons: CostThe book and author himself admit, it is on no way intended to replace actual training. What the book offers is a unique summation of CQB and tactical concepts that some in the prepper community may have not been exposed to. It's a great primer to concepts that can be explored further through training or further study.

Excellent content and info
I do not think of myself as a prepper- that is because alot is second nature to me being retied military with three combat tours in 27 years (Gulf and Iraq) and traing soldiers. This book would be very good to have on hand in your bug out bag, if the need ever arose- that is after you've read it and use to train and assist others on your team. I highly recommend.

A Great Primer
I thought it was an excellent primer for someone wanting to learn more on the subject. One needs to start somewhere. I found it to be informative and motivating. After all, if it serves to tweak interests and get more potatoes off the couch and in the field doing PT and learning life skills then it serves a much needed purpose. Get out there and do something. Sporting times may indeed be coming.

A must read for all preppers without a military background!
I am a retired military officer with 3 combat deployments (Kosovo and twice to Baghdad, Iraq). Even I learned new information from this read. Armageddon CQB is full of straight forward, how to concepts, telling the reader how to successfully prepare for and survive in Close Quarter Battle. If you are a prepper without a military background, this book is a must read.

Insightful Read
A very interesting, mature and insightful read on how the use of limited resources and manpower during an apocalyptic scenario changes the application of CQB in ways that the self-defense minded prepper may not have tactically considered.

Not worth your money
Wow, where to start. This reads like a dime novel. Besides the horrible editing and misspellings, the tactical advice is mish mash of theories squeezed together in a totally incomprehensible lump. First he talks about being "on your own" and then proceeds to give a badly generalized overview of team tactics. Not only is this book lacking in detail, it may very well get you killed if you rely on it for serious situations. Don't buy, save your money and stock up on more beans and bullets. You'll be far better served.
