Node Fitness 72" x 24" Yoga Mat - 1/2" Extra Thick with Carrying Strap

This is a nice mat for the price; however, it is not good for yoga poses. I bought it bc my knees hurt during yoga and I thought a thicker mat would help. It helps your knees, but the mat is too thick to keep your balance on other standing poses. I just use this mat at home now for exercises like sit ups and other ab work. I don’t take it to yoga. I’ve gone back to my original thin mat but put another mat from the gym underneath the area where your knees hit. This seems to work much better.

I bought this product primarily as support for my knees and elbows during pilate moves and yoga. It arrived in good condition. There was no smell at all. Just in case, I put it out in the sun for a few hours. It has been over three weeks now. I am absolutely thrilled with this product. It is great on my knees and elbows. I use the logo (striped) side as the top side. It does not move during use. There are no visible signs of mark or surface deterioration . I highly recommend it. I only wish it is available in more colors.

Lightweight, but high quality. Straps keep it coiled-up and easily carried. Doesn't feel like it will slough-off, nor does it seem to twist under feet/ knees/ elbows like cheaper mats do. Enough padding and grip for working out on tile floors.

I cant give it 5 stars because I'm not using it for yoga. I have wood floors and needed a thick mat for stretching. It works perfectly for this purpose. I'm 5'2'', and the 72" length is a generous amount for me. The purple color is really nice and the carrying strap is great because it's elastic, no need to fuss with buckles.

Great yoga mat for the price. It is thick and very soft and I’m able to do yoga on it without my body hurting or aching from the hard floor. My knees don’t hurt with it like they do with the thinner mats. I took one star away because of the carrying strap being basically useless. It will carry the mat but is really too stretchy and loose to actually be useful. It immediately gets twisted up on the mat and then the mat ends up sliding out of it and onto the floor, so I just end up carrying it. I’m planning on purchasing an actual carrying loop for it instead of fighting with this set. It seems durable so far and does get imprints but they always pop back out after a few minutes. It is a much thicker mat than the regular standard yoga mat, so keep that in mind if you are expecting it to fit where a regular yoga mat would, because it probably won’t fit. I am ok with this, so I don’t mind it. It rolls out fine and settles well at the ends onto the floor after a few seconds. I had no issues keeping it down while I was doing yoga. I had no issues with standing and balancing while on it because of the thickness, but some people may. I’m happy with it, minus the useless carrying straps.

The mat is super cushy and it makes kneeling poses bearable. I do feel a bit disconnected from the ground and it is a little "squeaky" when you move on it, but I imagine it's because the mat is new. If you have trouble kneeling during yoga or meditation, this is the mat for you.

Thank you Mix Wholesale (my Node brand mat [this item] was sold and shipped by them) for this great quality mat! I was hesitant to buy from this unknown (to me) seller, but the quality of the mat (new/very durable) is amazing, it was sealed like a typical professional yoga mat is in a store, it came with the cord/holder sling thing, and it arrived like 5 days before Amazon said it would! I just tried it out on laminate floor and it does not slip (I used it with the ridges-side-up), and my feet with socks pulling at certain parts of it during a stretch did not rip the mat! Great quality! So comfy my knees and feet don't feel the hard floor through it in poses where the body weight is concentrated on those areas. Thank you!

I used my mat for the first time today. There was no odor, it was easy to transport with the strap, and was very comfortable.
