Good for more than plumbing
Using for cable splicing, not PEX. Works great for insulation ring cuts on power cable.

Good tool
seems to be good. I have been cutting 1/2 and 3/4 inch pvc sch 40 with it and it works pretty good. Sad to say you can buy the entire tool cheaper than you can replacement blades but that is why I bought it. It feels sturdy when using it. I would recommend it to others. Hmm - I see the little handle lock in the photo here and I do not recall that on mine but I have been so busy with it I probably did not notice. I can cut through both sizes of pipe just squeezing very hard - I do not have to saw back and forth with it to get through the pipe wall. I am 5'4 130 lb older female if that information might help someone know if this tool is for them or not

Cuts sprinkler pipe, even the thick stuff, like butter
So sharp. So convenient. Great tool. Makes cutting the heavy 1/2 inch 125 PSI sprinkler pipe the easiest part of repairing irrigation systems.
