Tesla would be proud
Well made and very durable

A costly but amazing product.
As someone who has no background in physics, I purchased this out of curiosity and an interest in Tesla's contributions. What I ended up with is a very well-constructed gizmo with possibilities beyond my present grasp. After a few interesting mishaps (mostly due to old wiring in my home and lack of operator experience), I managed to perform some fairly neat experiments. Things became even better when I purchased the "visualizer" offered by E.I.. The company's catalog has some additional products that will certainly make things more interesting when used with the coil.

TeslaCoilWithConicTip&Switch
That's good product though only 40 Watts. Sometimes I need its 'safety switch' but I've two hands - so I've two of such coils with switch. I've more than two of such coils without switch - the previous design also 40 Watts. You've to be very careful & put them on separate circuit-breaker to not burn any electronic devices in home, like cable box - so I usually unplug or switch off any other electronic device which are usually connected in my home through 12 outlet-surge-protector ~4.2kJ.

Perfect for science lab
This device worked perfectly for my chemistry class. We were able to successfully complete the micro rocket lab from Flinn Scientific.

And it works like a charm
We Neon folks call this a 'spark coil tester' and it is used to find miniscule holes in glasswork. And it works like a charm.
