The best dust
Don’t buy any other dust than this, especially kaytee. This is the most good quality and fine dust you can buy for chinchillas. It doesn’t cost or make them look more dirty like other dusts. Maybe it depends on how soft or thick your chinchillas fur is, but in terms of making my chinchillas look and fell their best l, there’s nothing better.

good product, chinchillas love it
I use dust for my chinchillas. They loved the dust and took to it very quickly. I love that the product is sustainably sourced direct from the Andes which are where chinchillas are from. This is a great product, especially for the price as most other options (especially at pet stores) are twice the cost for half the amount of dust. The only downside of the product in my opinion is the packaging. It isn't convenient to pour into a dust bath and doesn't reseal the best without spilling dust (which is very messy), so I ended up pouring it into a different container for storage, which is the only reason for the 4 star rating. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product though.

If you have a chinchilla, you NEED this!
I love this dust! My chillas LOVE this dust. They have never looked happier, and their fur has never looked healthier. I’ve been using this a few days now and I am amazed at the difference. Both in their behavior and fur. I’ve tried just about all the brands trying to find the closest thing. The others had to much “glitter?”, to “dusty” or just didn’t seem to clean their fur. Though this is more than I am used to paying for dust I can’t go back. As we know chins are super soft, but after a bath sometimes they can feel a little course but not with this dust, they have never felt softer. It’s as if they went out and bought themselves a brand new coat. Amazing. I found it searching for the best dust when I ran out. There were a few on the list but this one is pure direct from the Andes Mountains and promised to give the coat and healthy sheen. Try this, they will love you for it.

Great bathing dust!
My chinchilla loves this stuff! It’s not sparkly like some bathing dusts. Doesn’t cling to my chin’s feet as much as other dusts, so it’s not as messy. It’s not so fine that it hangs in the air like dust clouds, it falls right out of the air when he shakes. (I like this very much, I feel like I’m not breathing in as much of his dust)

Seems Great; Arrived Opened/Damaged
Seemed like good dust for my chinchillas. I was upset to see that the product arrived opened/damaged, spilling dust everywhere when I opened it. Perhaps out of the manufacturer's hands but would advise caution.

The best so far!
I'm allergic to the pet store glittery crap brands of dust so I've been trying different brands online. This dust doesn't bother me at all. It's very fine and it has a way different feel like everything else before this was just wrong. I mean the last brand I tried, Katee or something like that, had straight up shards of something sharp in it. I can't imagine how that would feel in my chins eyes or nose. Anyways, I'll be sticking with this for now on.

A geography lesson may be needed?
The description details say "...from the purist pumice deposits in Idaho..." but the bag says "...the world's purest pumice deposits directly from the Andes Mountains..." Regardless, our chinchilla loves the stuff! We used to buy the Kaytee brand but the reviews say it's no longer pure pumice. Before, he would jump in for a quick bath then jump out. With this dust, he doesn't want to get out. And when he does, he is soft, not gritty.
