I have very mixed feelings on this device so far.It's been my experience that often devices like this have poor documentation, but I was impressed by the quality of the instruction booklet that shipped with this. It gave very detailed, step by step instructions on a variety of common use cases, including streaming directly to various common social media sites. This was extremely helpful, as the interface is very utilitarian and non-obvious - once you know how to set things up it is extremely easy to use, but without the manual the interface would be extremely hard to figure out via trial and error alone.Picture quality was excellent -- I haven't had a chance to test the higher bitrate options, but even at the lower settings I am very satisfied with the results.The unit uses a 12 volt AC adapter (included), that connects with a standard sized plug. As a result, the unit can be run via various 3rd party battery packs. This is very handy.The WiFi functionality is a bit erratic. It takes several attempts before the unit will connect to WiFi, regardless of the strength of the signal. Once it connects, it appears to work property, however.UPDATE:My original review rated this device only 3 stars, due to the fact that MJPEG encoding support was advertised in the product description, yet this functionality is completely missing from the user interface and user manual. Considering this is one of the main reasons I selected this unit over the competition, that was very frustrating.After contacting the manufacturer, I got an extremely fast response, along with a firmware update that included both h.264 and MJPEG encoding options. While it's unfortunate this wasn't included out of the box (nor is this update available on the manufacturer's website), I am updating my review to 4 stars now that the device works as intended.

We bought this to use to stream our services to both Facebook and YouTube.The encoder in the video is of very poor design and washes out the video colors as well as provide a very poor resolution even though it’s set to 720p/6000bps.The biggest issue, however, is the inconsistent audio sync. Sometimes the audio is perfectly in sync while other times it’s out of sync by .5-3s with no way to fix.I would not buy this again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Maybe I had higher expectations for this device than I should have. I have no problem logging into the encoder, however, getting it to connect to a wireless network seems to be impossible. I did have a couple successful attempts when I configured the device over Ethernet, but I guess when I purchased the device I was of the understanding that this could be all configured over wireless. Lesson learned.If I could get this device to connect to a wireless network it would be an absolute 5 star device. Similar process as logging into a router and configuring the rtsp to your platform of choice (Youtube Live, FB, etc). Will update this review accordingly if I am able to get it working.

It's an a amazing device that does exactly as it says I was able to stream simultaneously to both FB and YouTube at same time just like I wanted to. Had some issues with setup at the beginning but then the tech support team were swift to respond. Once I was able to reach out to them they were able yo resolve all the issues I had, and on of them was having to upgrade the firmware of the device. Once that was done, I was good to go. Highly recommended.

I bought this to stream church services. We had intermittent problems with the unit after about 3 months. Then this past week, it did not work at all. I set up two Teamviewer sessions for the URAY support team to try and get the encoder running. Their support team did not show up for either call! Pathetic.

These are one of the best encoders you are going to find at this price point that will push 4 simultaneously streams. I have one deployed for a client and it's been running 24/7 since January 2020. Tech support is top notch and they are very responsive.I had an issue with one of the encoders where the picture looked washed out, so i contacted them, they sent me a firmware, i updated the firmware and voila the picture quality was restored....VERY VERY GOOD QUALITY picture.I have ordered 6 of these encoders and 1 decoder and i plan on ordering more.

Easy to use and program. It is more than my expectation. Instructions are very clear.
