3D volume & thickening conditioner | amika

My water softener had been broken for many months, leaving my hair a damaged, residue-coated, rust-colored mess. My husband replaced the resin bed in the water softener and my hair feels soooooooooooooo much cleaner, but it was still looking very “see-through”. I have a closet filled with rejected products from years of trying to make my few hairs look like many, so I was skeptical of the Amika 3D shampoo and conditioner duo. They left my hair feeling “textured, not silky soft, but definitely looking and feeling thicker. The second time I washed my hair, I added a bit of Eva NYC therapy mask to the ends for softness (and the heavenly smell), and this combination worked very well. I am trying very hard to only use vegan, cruelty-free, non-toxic beauty products so I appreciate that Amika hits the mark on all of those points. The smell is pleasant, but very light (I have been spoiled by the delicious EvaNYC collection fragrance). I will continue to purchase the shampoo and conditioner 3D duo because even though my ends are a bit dry after use, it is easy to add a leave-in or second conditioner, and it definitely makes my sad, scraggly hair look bigger!

I’m obsessed with this shampoo and conditioner. It does help thicken your hair and provide moisture to your hair. It’s high quality and works well. I will say all of these products are over priced and wish it was cheaper.

Recommended by my stylist & so far, its very nice, scent is pleasant, my hair is so much softer & less hair in the bottom of the tub & its only been 3 weeks!!! Im very pleased, giving it a few months to see continuously improvement♡

Love it. My wife says her hair feels fuller and smells amazing. Kinda pricey so Shes going to swap this out with her other favorite but more affordable shampoo from time to time.

I have the most baby fine hair in the world -- and never used daily conditioner because it "weighted" my hair down and made it limp until a couple of washings later. My hair person recommended this product, and I reluctantly tried it. It is awesome!!!!! I still use "no more tears baby detangler" right after and mousse. But it doesn't weight my hair down and actually seems to make it look thicker. My hair person said my hair is in so much better shape now. My only complaint - I hate the (smaller size) version bottle. When you first start using it, a lot comes out. As you get to the end of the bottle, you can't get it out and then when you squeeze it, sometimes a huge amount comes out. You get used to getting the right amount out of the bottle - the size of a quarter maybe. But I can "take it" for how I love it!!!!! I suppose they do that on purpose so you consume more quicker, so be very careful when squeezing the silly pink bottle! For those of you who say it stays in your hair, are you washing it out really good while in the shower? It is not a "stay-in" type of conditioner!

This smells AMAZING! My hair hasn't ever felt so thick and stays thick for a WHILE only issue it tends to get tangled quickly once it drys

Makes my hair feel like a pile of grease! For the amount of money I wouldn’t buy it again that’s for sure!
