Works flawlessly
Bought three of these, and they saved me $300 total. The installation guy sells them for $150 each and he makes it seem like that's the only way you can get them. Buy them here on Amazon, then install them yourself. To install, you either have to have the installer code, or you have to call ADT customer service and have them make you an admin for an hour. I called them and asked for the installer code and they said if they give it to me, it'll void my warranty (who knows why). But, he said he could make me an admin for an hour and I can do the install. Took my about 30 minutes to do all three properly without rushing. Just follow the instructions that came with it. The default setting on the panel for the sensor was "Door/Window" but I changed it to "Door/Window-M" because that's what my other shock sensors were listed as. My other shock sensors are set to minimum shock so I left these at minimum as well.

Works great on major door with glass.
8/5/21 We needed to replace an ordinary sensor, so I opted for this kind due to all the glass in and surrounding this door. Our Security Company Rep. didn’t want us to use this kind on a front door for a reason that I wasn’t concerned with since we also have a storm door. It’s been installed for a few weeks with no issues. Installing it is easy. Panel identifies it as “Shock Door Open” when it’s opened while the alarm is off. I’m considering adding another to a different door with glass, too. What I don’t like is the need to replace some sensors with only a limited time warranty, which doesn’t reflect on this product, as of yet. But I think the product itself should come with a 5 year warranty, minimally. So, get an alarm with the type of sensors you’d like, add on additional ones that you want and use the whole Qolsys IQ panel & system to your advantage.

Genuine SLine 319.5 sensors
Purchased a few of these, all are genuine and enrolled without issue. For windows, you can mount directly to the windows and have them only sense shock(no need for the second magnet sensor). Or as a shock AND door/window open. Which is perfect for your back doors and even your front if your feel suspect to a "kick in". Their is a sensitivity adjustment as well as a 'warning beep' which is/was nice to help adjust sensitivity. If you need more range or better signal.. The DSC PG9935 is a bad ass shock sensor. I had to remove my 2 garage shock sensors dueto range/connection issues. I've replaced with power g. Honestly, I've had the idea now to actually place them on a car we have outside that otherwise never moves and doesn't have an alarm...

Make sure you have the necessary Installer Code before purchasing!
A quirk of the Qolsys IQ Panel and adding additional sensors is that it requires a 4 digit installation code under advanced settings. Otherwise you will not see the option to install the sensor using your own pass key. It is likely one of ADT's standard codes or that of one of their distributors. There are Youtube videos to help explain or hint what that code may be (keep all of your paperwork after installation). Once I had that worked out and had the panel in learn mode the sensor got picked up after about 30 seconds and I was able to register the device adjust the name etc. It is now working perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase.
