I got this for my BFF that has horrible knee problems. She's had two knee replacement surgeries, and one knee just drives her nuts. The doc says there is nothing structurally wrong with it, and no further surgery is needed. However, the pain continues unless she takes prescription meds, and that is not always an option for her (she's really too old to be taking too many of those too!) I think part of the problem is that she really needs to lose weight and take some pressure off the knee. In the meantime, this compression knee sleeve is making a HUGE difference in her quality of life! She said that she puts it on, and after a few minutes, she doesn't even feel it anymore. She claims that she can wear it all day and never have any pain or stability issues with her knee at all! She does seem to be able to move about a lot better, and it doesn't take her nearly as long to come to a standing position as it was.
