Leaks like a sieve
Leaks all over the place from the top connector thread. I ordered two and both were the same. Tried them on different taps and with different watering products attached but I gave up. I have used many different connectors and timers on taps before and understand the usual causes of leakage and how to fix them but this left me defeated. Useless.

It leaks
I was so disappointed because this timer got good reviews. It was impossible to connect my hose because no matter how tightly I screwed the hose connector it still leaked. Completely useless.

Total garbage. One of my worst purchases.
I cannot describe how bad this product is. I know it seems to have a good review rating but I bought 2 of these and they were both absolutely terrible. The thing sprays and leaks all over the place. However tight I connected it - it still sprayed everywhere. And it is impossible to get the stupid thing to stop ticking. Do not purchase. Went straight back for a refund.

Don’t buy
Top leaks badly and bottom didn’t fit any of my existing UK fittings. Rubbish

Hard to connect. Poor flow
This was recommended on gardeners group I’m with. The star rating was not bad. It arrived quickly. Bad points: 1/ very hard to connect. Unless you have enough thread on the tap it won’t connect. I had to use an extra long connection to get a long enough thread. Using 2 rubber seals doesn’t work. I managed to connect it after a few weeks waiting for all the connections to arrive. 2/ once connected, the flow is weak. Considering this is the cold water mains it was almost half the strength. So it’s double the time to top up the pond. Not for me. I’m glad it works for others. I’m back to using my phone 10 min alarm😊

These things are great. This one in particular is inexpensive and does the trick. I have to water the new sod patches in sections. This timer makes it easy: place the sprinkler, set the timer for an hour, and go do something else. I don't remember if there were any instructions or even a box. The only thing for special attention is the little black tab under the edge of the dial at the OUT side of the unit. Press it down to disengage the dial so the dial will turn easily to the desired setting. No batteries, non-rusting plastic, easy to read dial, durable outside, and priced right. Just what I was looking for at a great price.
