Great Product, AAA+ Customer Service!
The media could not be loaded. **EDIT to add that on our first use of this we had a 93% hatch rate. 41 ended up being fertile viable eggs that developed, on exactly the evening of day 17 nearly every single egg hatched in the span of about 3 hours which was excellent because I was able to move big batches of chicks out and into the brooder, so I would assume this means the Hovabator is pretty consistent with its temps if the eggs should hatch between day 16 and day 18 and nearly all of mine hatched day 17 evening time. There was 5 left, 2 hatched the next morning, 3 had died, BUT this was no fault of the incubator, 2 were deformed, 1 was too weak I suppose. So great hatch experience thank you. I would def buy this again. So I only have a Janoel 12 to compare, and I was on the fence about styrofoam, but the kit was too good to pass up, and almost everyone on the chicken forums has one type or another of styrofoam incubators.I didn’t want to have to buy all the parts separate (turner to be exact) and I definitely wanted a fan. So after much debating I went ahead and ordered this one.Even though this is not in Prime - the shipping is quite fast. I needed it by the weekend last week and sure enough it was here.It looks a bit daunting when you take it out - there are some pieces but fear not - all instructions are included for EVERYTHING. Not only that, but they are printed on good paper, and in color, with pictures. It’s quite easy, if you need further help there are videos on YouTube.I had my husband put it together because I was busy with some other babies and eggs lolOk so we got it up and running no problem, the temp took just a couple hours to stabilize, we got it early in the day so we had plenty of time to get it sorted before I added some eggs. I was picking up some Texas A&Ms that evening. I will also note that the humidity and temps do not seem to fluctuate much for us at all, we have a probe that hangs in the corner as well as the thermometer that comes with it. At most the temp goes from 37.5 to 37.6-37.4 maybe another .1 one way or another. The humidity seems to hold well.Loaded 48 quail eggs into the incubator later on that evening. June 9, 2018. The person I got them from sold them cheap said that his hatch rate had dropped but I’m optimistic and I’m a crazy bird lady I have hatched quail I thought were long dead, and I am my own vet 99% of the time. So I knew I would get a decent hatch if the eggs were fertile - quail eggs seem to be able to survive a lot.Ok so I loaded it up. Everything seemed fine. Then I noticed the eggs would turn vertical and the motor was running a bit hot, it seems a bit too loud making a loud jerking noise from time to time, I started to get concerned. I waited a couple days to see if it would work itself out. Then I used the Incubright to candled a few eggs. Now I will say 99% of the eggs I randomly chose to candle were fertile and growing and I could clearly make out a heart beat at 3 days. See video. So I know the incubator is working but the noise and things were bothering me, and the Incubright flashlight flickered so I had to shake it.I contacted the seller and they immediately replied and put a new incuturn motor and Incubright light in the mail, it just came yesterday. So I would say this is 110% best costumer service from this company. Shipping is very fast, quality product, and by the end of next week I expect many quail babies to be hopping around lol I have faith it will work just fine now especially with the new motor.I tried the new light and it is not flickering so I must have just got a bad one at first - but hey these things happen nothing is perfect! Just know that this company WILL REPLACE QUICKLY!!!So yes I highly recommend this company for your egg hatching needs.Thank you for your customer service and have a wonderful day. Happy sales to you. Keep up the excellent work and I will be a repeat customer I am sure!

DAMAGED: EITHER THE AIR CIRCULATING FAN ORTHERMOSTAT BUT THEY TOOK CARE OF IT ASAP!
ITEM CAME IN THE ORIGINAL BOX WITH NO PROTECTION. I PICKED UP THE PACKAGE FROM THE USPS COUNTER, AND THE CONTENTS JUST RATTLED INSIDE. I TOOK IT HOME AND TOOK EVERYTHING OUT. THE LEFT WINDOW CAVITY ONTHE COVER OF THE INCUBATOR HAS A PIECE OF FOAM MISSING. THE PLASTIC COVER WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO COVER THIS WINDOW WAS INSIDE THE INCUBATOR. I TOOK OUT THE THERMOSTAT AND PUT IT TOGETHER IN ORDER TO PLUG IT IN. PLACED THE TWO THERMOMETERS THAT CAME WITH THE PACKAGE, PLUGGED IN THE HEATING FAN AND I WAITED ONE HOUR TO ALLOW THE INCUBATOR REACH THE TEMPERATURE OF 100 DEGREES AS INSTRUCTED IN THE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. I WENT BACK, AND BOTH THERMOMETERS INDICATED 95 DEGREES. I TURNED THE THERMOSTAT TO BRING UP THE TEMPERATURE. I DID THIS MULTIPLE TIMES, SINCE THE TEMPERATURE WOULD NOT GO UP TO 100 DEGREES. I TURNED THE THERMOSTAT'S ADJUSTING SCREW UNTIL IT STOP TOUCHING THE 3006 SNAP SWITCH AND FELL OFF. I PULL UP THE TOP COVER AND STARTED CHECKING THE WIRING AND THE METAL RODS THAT RUN ON BOTH SIDES OF THE TOP COVER. WHEN I TOUCHED THE RODS, IT WAS SO HOT THAT BURNED MY FINGERS. AT THIS POINT, I CHECKED THE AIR CIRCULATING FAN AND REALIZED IT WAS NOT MOVING, IT WASN'T WORKING. CHECKED ALL THE CABLES AND THEY SEEM PROPERLY PLUGGED IN, BUT THE FAN IS NOT WORKING AT ALL.I HAD PURCHASED THIS SAME INCUBATOR ON NOVEMBER 22, 2020. IT WAS DELIVERED ON DECEMBER 7, 2020. THE EXACT SAME INCUBATOR IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER.I HAVE USED IT MANY, MANY TIMES AND I’M HAPPY WITH IT. I NEEDED ANOTHER ONE TO KEEP MYSELFT BUSY DURING THIS PANDEMIC AND PEOPLE ARE COMING TO ME TO GET THEIR CHICKEN EGGS HATCHED.I’M NOT SURE WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE NEW INCUBATOR, BUT APPEARS TO BE THE AIR CIRCULATING FAN AND/OR THERMOSTAT.I CONTACTED THE COMPANY VIA ELECTRONIC MAIL. WITHIN 24 HOURS, I RECEIVED AN ANSWER FROM PATRICK. I'M HAPPY TO SAY THAT HE TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM BY SENDING ME A NEW COVER AND IT IS PERFECTLY WORKING. SOON I SHOULD HAVE A LOAD OF HATCHED EGGS AND MY FRIENDS WILL BE HAPPY, AND I WILL BE LESS STRESSED :D THANK YOU PATRICK!!!

Great hatch rate
To start, Be aware the incubator is a Styrofoam container, this is probably the reason it is only $150ish. I was extremely happy with the ease of use, assembly and most of all hatch rate.It was easy to assemble and get going, the egg turner is amazing. It came with a digital temperature and humidity monitor you can put right inside with the eggs. There is an air hole that is designed for when they start hatching you could use to put a straw in with a funnel and refill the water levels so you don't have to open it often to help keep the humidity level stable. I opened it though and candled the eggs to make sure they were progressing. it comes with a nice flashlight to candle the eggs that works great.I put in 13 duck eggs and then a week later 25 chicken eggs. 8 ducks(60%) and 25 chickens(100%) hatched successfully, I was expecting and hoping for a 50% hatch rate across the board. I will see how easy it is to clean here later today but am looking forward to my second batch of 30 duck eggs (if all hatch would be $180 worth of ducks from rural king). All in all it pays for itself in a matter of 1-2 incubations depending on what bread and type of bird you are putting in there. with 25 chicks hatch at $3 per(conservative cost at rural king) and 8 ducks hatch at $6 per I am happy with $123 worth of birds in one hatch.

pure trash
Last year I purchased a Hovabator & it worked great, could not ask for better .So I ordered another but this time a deluxe.LOL There is nothing deluxe about this junkabator. Can't control temperature. The little windows don't give you much of a view & the temp & humidity is viewed by a little(hard to read) thermometer that set loose inside & as the eggs move so does this little worthless thermometer. Don't let my misfortune make you chose another brand . My first Hovabator was great & would like to have anotherinstead of this piece of junk.
