Box beat up, product an open box return?
This Nambe bowl is beautiful. However, this gift purchased as a wedding present arrived with the Nambe box beat up and shabby looking. Inside it appears the product had been opened... wonder if this was a returned item. The seller was Amazon, not a sub-merchant. Product would have been fine for myself, but am a little embarrassed about the packaging to give as a gift.

Awesome Bowl - Great Size
Nambe Metal is Amazing, This bowl is Very Nice, Very Sturdy.We were debating between this bowl and the butterfly Nambe bowl. We chose this one hands down.We have it displayed on our counter top as a Fruit bowl, and everybody that comes over takes a look at it and thinks it's unique.We did place a felt pad underneath the bottom on the flat part to protect it from scratches when it's pushed or slide. Very happy about this purchase, we had the bigger one and it was too big for our house. Maybe if you're using it for a center piece you can get away with it. We also have the smaller one then this one is a good handy size too we use it as a candy bowl.
