Replacement for Frigidaire Window Air Conditioner Remote Control Model Number RG15D/E-ELL RG15D/E-ELL1 (1PC)

I waited until the air conditioning season was over for my Frigidaire AC's before I wrote this review. I have used the 2 new replacement remotes for months now and wished I had discovered them years ago.The remote that came from the air conditioner mfgr were awful. I broke at least 3 in their first year of use because I could never get used to the flat buttons- (where are they in the dark? how hard do I have to push them?)This remote worked as soon as I put batteries in and hit the nice tall, easy to see, easy to distinguish buttons.Well marked, easy to use, seem sturdily made....what more can I say?

I was very skeptical when I ordered this, assuming there was a good chance it would be junk but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it works great!! Actually, it works better than the original remote I had for my a/c unit! No issues at all so far and I've been using it daily for the past month. So happy to have found an inexpensive replacement!

I have a Frigidaire 10,000-BTU window unit (model # FFRE10L3S1) that works very well, but the remote it came with always sucked. Its range was crap, it used those circular/flat coin-shaped batteries (which I was replacing constantly), and the buttons didn't work half the time.One day I wondered if there was an alternative remote that would work better, so I decided to search Amazon. I found a few options, but chose this one because it was the cheapest.I am happy to report that this new remote works marvelously. The batteries are easier to find (currently using two rechargable AAAs), the range is at least 3 times greater, and the buttons are much easier to press. It worked with my A/C unit immediately.I have yet to see how long this remote lasts, but so far I am completely satisfied. So satisfied, in fact, that I threw out the original remote.

The small remote that came with my ten year old a/c unit no longer carries those circle batteries.This remote is so nice and not too small that you’ll lose it.I made sure that the number on my a/c matches the remote above.Thank you 🙏Stay safe

Not sure why the review asked for stars for "warmth". I guess the remote is supposed to be a handwarmer also? If so it completely failed at that. But as a A/C remote, it works. No fiddling or pairing, it just worked fine. Maybe if I burn it I can get some warmth???

No complaints! Works great and a much better design than the little flat one that came with the air conditioner!

This works Great! I am so very happy with this remote. I took it out of the package and put it into the battery and then pushed the button! It worked, no programing just a remote that works with my air conditioner!

Great replacement for a rather poor original remote. Much easier to use with real buttons and not the tiny ones of the original.
