It doesn’t lock onto my critter nation cage, but the rats can’t push it over, so that’s not much of a problem. The grate is easy to take off and on, so cleaning is super easy. Stops the rats from nesting in the poop bedding. Highly recommend for rats if you have the space.

For the price, this is a pretty good product. The dimensions and materials are as listed, and the design does the job. I did have concerns when first learning the best way to remove the tray for cleaning. One of the plastic clips broke after I pushed it down too hard. It still works fine with only one clip, but if you have a hefty bun it may not be for you.My bun has attitude occasionally as he doesn't like his cage or routine messed with. He tried to flip it a couple times and it stayed were it was. That was the main goal so, even if the plastic attachments were a little flimsy I'm still happy with it. After the initial tantrum he seems to approve of it. It keeps his cage much cleaner and uses less litter. (Yay!)

I had my mama lop outside in an Elgu for the spring, summer, and part of the fall before it got too cold and then I brought her inside. I have her in a decent size cage with a drop pan below, but I hated having to clean the drop pan because it was so big and she didn't go to the bathroom in the same place everytime. When I read the reviews on this litter box, I thought I'd let her give it a try and to my absolute surprise, she somehow knew this was the place she needed to go to the bathroom on, every time, no exceptions. I have no idea how she figured it out, but this litter box has made cleaning her cage 99% easier. All I have to do is dump the contents out after 2-3 days, disinfect with spray, rinse and put it back in the corner. The side guard has been especially great since urine would sometime leak out the side of the cage. The side guard keeps it all in the box. I will add that she has a lot of mineral deposits in her urine so to get the deposits off of the bottom of the litter box (I don't use actually absorbable litter in it) besides scrubbing, CLR loosens it up so the deposits can be wiped off with just a little elbow grease and it doesn't harm the box.I totally recommend this product to anyone who wants to make their cleanup easier after their furry bunny friend(s). The only gripe I have, which is small, is that the bar fasteners are not wide enough to keep the box adhered to the side bars if she decided she wants to move the box around, but I think this is because the bars are farther apart on my cage particular.

I’m bunny sitting and I thought I’d try this. Clipped it in the corner of her cage and added pelleted bedding I use for horse stalls and it has made cleaning up so much easier! She sits on it and uses it regularly even though she’s not necessarily litter box trained.

Honestly looked like it was used. Some dirt at the seams and the wire looked like sections had been painted. The most noticeable thing was that it was covered in mold, I know it could have been a one time thing from being stored in some dampness, but with the rest of the stuff going on I decided to return it.

I love this litter box for our rabbit. It only took a little training for him to understand that this is where he’s supposed to go. Honestly, he still uses the world as his toilet when he poops, but at least he always pees in the litter box.Our rabbit is on the larger side and he still fits on it nicely. He loves to sit on it while he’s eating or chewing on his toy. It’s easy to remove and clean and he hasn’t tried chewing on it at all, which is funny because he chews on literally everything else.Overall, a big hit! Highly recommend for rabbits.

This product is AMAZING! I’m not one to often write reviews, but feel one is needed here. I have been using these for my rabbits for 3 months now. They’ve turned cleaning their cage into a breeze. I put it in the corner they usually do their business in and experienced a seamless transition to them doing allll of their business in it. I have mini-lops, and they have no issue using it. I clean it every 2 days or so, and this allows me to not have to do a complete overhaul clean on their cage every time. It hooks on the cage easily, and my rabbits might “fight” with it playing a little but they’ve never messed it up.

Love the fact that you don't have to unscrew it every time to clean it, it is big enough for my two mini bunnies to both fit on it.Very easy to clean and keeps them up out of the mess.
