Used this to wire my LYNX External Siren from the main unit to the box where the relay, transformer and power supply were mounted. Wire works fine and appears to be the 22 gauge stranded copper wire that was advertised. The only minor issue I experienced was with pulling the wire. There was a small tangle within the first 20 feet that I had to yank out and push the excess back in. Wasn't too much of an issue for me since I used this for my personal installation; however, professional installers may be bothered since "time is money".

The wire is built tough but is a perfect size so your install won't be too bulky. I like how it has markings to indicate how much feet is left.

We finished our garage and needed to rerun the garage opener sensor cables. This cable was exactly what I was looking for and was very easy to use. I super glued the cable to the garage door track so as to make it hard to see the cable. I am glad I purchased this cable and believe it was a good value for the money.

I pulled this through my attic for my irrigation system. It came out of the box as expected and the quality of the wire is great.

This wire doesn’t take solder very well. I even tried cleaning it with alcohol and then used acid flux, which works when all else fails - it barely took solder even then. I thought it could be contaminated with manufacturing debris, but looked clean. I think it is missing the Copper cladding it is supposed to have. That would explain the soldering issues as you can’t solder to aluminum without special flux and much higher temperatures than you get with a regular soldering iron. I had to scrap an entire roll because it just wouldn’t solder reliably. Not using this again.
