We bought this as a shower speaker, and are happy enough with it. My GF uses it primarily and said the only reason she would not give it 5 stars, is that the instructions are a bit difficult to follow. But i can attest to the sound quality for phone calls, it sounds better then the iphone's speaker phone by far.

I use it in the shower (TMI), as I inevitably get a call while in there. The only thing that kind of bugs me is that when I hang up from a phone call the phone speakers come back on instead of this unit. I have to do a power down/ up to get the music, etc. to come back through this units speaker. Not a huge deal, just yet another annoyance of all things electronic. Battery seems to last as stated. Haven't dropped it yet (or the soap), so don't know how it will hold up to hitting the tub or getting submerged.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. Good sound quality and volume. It was very easy to sync with their Galaxy S3 phone.

I'm updating my review and dropping it another star. Had this for six months now and it is virtually unusable. Very difficult to turn on for no apparent reason. Pressing the power button for up to a minute "sometimes" works but most often doesn't. Won't hold a charge for more than about 10-15 minutes of use. Very difficult to connect with iPhone via Bluetooth...multiple attempts required. The unit has never been wet. Contacted Pyle customer service twice. Zero response. When it works it's great. But it rarely works.Nice little speaker for the shower, and the price is right. But....it worked great for about a week then it started having problems connecting to either my iPhone or iPad. Required multiple tries to get it to connect and be recognized. Finally stopped connecting altogether to my iPad. Still working with my iPhone but only about 80% of the time. I fully expect it to stop working with the phone as well. Probably better off paying a little more and getting a product that works properly all of the time.

This is exacltly what I needed for boating. I can take calls and not worry to wet the telephone. Clear sound and easy to use. Instructions for set up very easy. Will recommend to anyone boating and worried about not messing the telephone.

I like it and use it in my trailer when my cell phone is hooked up to the external antenna. The Bluetooth clarity could be better along with a better on off button.

I have had this for a few months now and it works surprisingly well. Perfect option for listening to music and podcasts in the shower.

Static noise from the speaker, continuous buzz when used as a handset. Loud cracks when switching speakers. Tried two pieces, both had the same problems. Asked for refund.
