Tool Wizard Grill Brush Wizard,2 Brushes and 2 Scrubbers

I was trying to find a grill cleaner that is not a bristled brush after hearing many horror stories on the news and a friend at work who had to have surgery to remove a metal bristle from their intestines...Yuk! I ordered this set and am happy with my purchase. Keep in mind I am not an occasional griller... I am an avid griller who grills every day! It cleans the surface well and is holding up nicely. My only complaint is it doesn't have a scraper edge to get deep between the grills. Overall a very good, SAFE, product for cleaning your grill.

The idea of this product is a good one however I find tht the pad doesn't reach the burned on bits and chunks in between the grill grates. My grill is a Weber with porcelain coated cast iron. Possibly a grill with a different type of grate would be a better suiter. Also the product could be improved by adding a scraper head, this would possibly alleviate the problem of cleaning between the grill bars.The fact that the wire pad is eaisly replaced is a plus but all in all I feel that this is a very limited use utensil.

I bought this brush based on recommendations from a barbecue/grilling forum. I needed a grill brush that was porcelain-safe. The Tool Wizard Grill Brush does not disappoint. Its perfection is in its simplicity. Despite my repeated vigorous use of this brush, the scrubber head stays firmly in place.The best method I have discovered for cleaning my porcelain-coated grill grates is as follows:1. Get the grill very hot.2. Place a bowl of water (hot or cold) near the grill.3. Dip the brush into the water and immediately scrub the grates. The cooked-on debris is steamed and brushed away. When you run out of steam, dip the brush again. You will probably dip after every third swipe.Initially, I felt like it was not reaching the debris between the grates adequately. I had resigned myself to simply letting it go since the food would not be touching it anyway, but it just did not look clean. Then, I discovered that with a couple uses, the scrubber head becomes a little more pliable, and with a little pressure, it conforms to the shape of the grates. It can now reach those previously difficult-to-reach places.I have used all types of grill brushes over the years (brass, fiber, steel), and the Tool Wizard Grill Brush coupled with the aforementioned steam-method gets the job done with the least amount of effort.

I don't really like this. I bought a two pack and gave on to my dad and kept one for myself. The brush might do a better job on plain wire grill grates, but I have a 3 burner with cast iron grates and they just tore the brush apart. The brush didn't have the strength nor the flexibility to do the job

I've used this for a few months now and am pleased with it. Scrubber does not scratch my stainless grill. I just re-position pad on holder to extend pad life. Some care needs to be taken not to allow side of holder to come into contact and scratch the grill.

I bought the brush based on the glowing review at Cooks Illustrated. The brush does clean well but it shreds apart pretty quick. I scrubbed my cast iron grate and although it cleaned it well the pad already started to shred.

Had many issues with wire brushes. Also read about a kid in Tacoma WA getting a wire bristle stuck in his gut. This product avoids that. Could be manufactured a bit better though. Uses any steel ball you can find in a market.

I would not recommend buying the replacement scrubbers from this brand, they do not hold up well and come unraveled very easily.
