It Works and Easy to Use
Worked like a charm and simple application to set up. Replaced a broken headphone jack from Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers that plugged into my MacBook Pro and sound quality is as good as the original! As an inexperienced person working with a soldering gun, this was much simpler. Very pleased with the results!

High-quality, easy to work with—great for prototyping
I bought this because I'm wiring a custom cable for use with my ham radio transceiver and amplifier. The ACC port on my radio uses a 3.5mm phono plug such as this. But since I wasn't sure of some connections, I wanted a quick way to mock up the final connector before soldering a final one. This is exactly what what I needed!Pros:-Quality cable and solid plastic molding on both the plug and terminal end.-Proper electrical continuity between plug and terminals. No shorts, crossed wires, or open circuits found with Ohm meter.-Screws on terminal are very easy to turn and make bare wire connections a breeze.-Perfect for quick prototyping, can be reused for the next project.-Terminals are labeled with pin connections for ease of use.-Wire lead has the appearance and size of a commercial plug, so this product should function as usually when testing.Cons:-Probably not best for a permanent cable construction, as the screw terminals are designed to lightly grip the wires, not hold them indefinitely. But this is not designed for "permanent" use anyway, so this is not a true negative, just something to be aware of.Highly recommend for it's intended use: prototyping!

I think it should work.
I like its simple and straight forward design. It might be asking too much, but I wish it had dual negative terminals so there'd be one for each channel.I'm waiting for one final component to arrive before trying it out, but it looks like it should work, if I don't blow out my receiver's amp by testing this.

Subwoofer adapter cable :)
Works great.

Works great.
Used it to tie in my set of PreSonus desktop speakers to my SONOS connect AMP (I know confusing mix of products) so now I get the full benefit of my synced speakers and subwoofer when I want to rock out or I'm focusing on code. But I can also isolate my wireless speakers for the TV or another area of the shop and still have local control over my PC speakers.

Easy to use.
Great product. You get exactly what you order.

Too small
This adapter plug was too small (wire wise) for my application. It is surely designed to be used on smartphones. The wire holes on the connector are for really small gauge wire.

Would've worked...if my headphones hadn't already given up.
I snapped the 3.5mm jack on my headphones accidentally, so I thought this would fix the problem....the wires were a bit difficult to get into place, but that's just how small wires are. When I got the screws tightened and tested the headphones with the adapter, it worked....but only on the left side. I can only assume this was a problem with the headphones themselves and not the adapter, as the headphones are old and the cord was starting to split in a few places farther up- the wires stayed clamped down in the adapter pretty well otherwise, didn't feel like they'd separate easily when fully tightened down. Took off one star because it was a bit difficult to get together, but still far easier than trying to solder the thin headphone wires onto the tiny pins on other TRS jack replacement options
