Excellent highly accruate audiophile speakers at great price.
These speakers use a very unique patented concept to create low frequency accurate base from a small speaker. Notice I said low frequency, not deep as in not loud. Most speakers distort up to 10% the bass, more distortion as it gets to lower and lower frequencies. This speaker uses a new concept, the inverse horn, which uses the energy inside the speaker to accelerate and magnify the bass frequencies. It has a vibration chamber and that excites certain frequencies, and pushes them into a narrower and narrower horn, then out the port at high speed. It's called HPAS, High Pressure Accellerated Sound I think. Unlike the physics though settled with other speakers, with this speaker, the deeper the bass, the LESS distortion is produced. Also, the lower demands on the mid-range/woofer allow it to work in an area of non distortion since it's the reverse side that's pushing all the air through the reverse horn. . Most speakers distort when they are forced to drive frequencies not in the part of their linear frequency response. How does this translate into your sound. For me, words that I might not hear clearly with other speakers, I can hear pronounciation much clearer.

Great speakers
I purchased these speakers when they were priced at $900 each. I have no idea how they are being sold here at this lower price. They are wonderful speakers, well worth what I paid for them. And great on the WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor).
