Q: Are these stay on? Do they have the silicone grips?

Yes they have silicone grips. I would suggest a garter belt to be on the safe side. I was going to a wedding and one stocking would not stay up. Had to take them off in the car on the way to the wedding!!! They are great stockings otherwise.

Q: I'm 255lbs and 5'1" and been searching everywhere. What size should I get?

Well it is free returns but I’d say if your thighs are on the thicker side then try a 2x that way they’re cozy I wear a size 14-16 in pants and I got the 1X :) Hope that helps
