Kitchen Grips 2-Piece Long Handle Pan Holder, Black

These are great little kitchen grips. They slide right on to the end of your pan. I have quite a few pans that are either cast iron or stainless steel handles. I often will put the pan right on my grill to make a sauce or to store my food. These are great I have not burnt my hand since I've purchased, I've had them for several months and they're still in great shape, they grip very well and are comfortable on my hands. I've actually put mine through the dishwasher to clean and they come out perfect. When I first got the item I was afraid they would be too small, that is not the fact they are small but they do a big job and do it well. I've attached the photo so you can get an idea of the true size. I'm very happy with the look and durability of the product I use these almost daily and would highly recommend. These Kitchen Grip Long Handle Pan Holders work great. I purchased them as one of my pans has a handle that get very hot while cooking. I have to either find a potholder - which is kind of awkward to try to keep the some what skinny handle from slipping through the potholder. Or I'm grabbing the nearest dish towel to wrap around the handle. I found these wonderful Handle Sleeves that slide on my pan handle, they are easy to grab a hold of, not bulky in your hand. They have a Non-slip grip, non-skid, raised nub surface which truly makes these Pan Holders so great. The other thing that made me LOVE these Handle Sleeves that much more was that they are MADE IN THE USA, that is hard to find these daysl

A bit larger than I originally expected when received. These are designed to fit larger skillet handles even though there are two different sizes in the pack. They're a loose fit around the handles of the skillets I own so I ended up donating them to another. They're nice with the different materials but I like a snug fit of a handle cover that won't roll on me while I'm moving skillets from one burner to another when cooking.

I just bought some stainless steel pots and pans, and realized that the handles can become very hot. I like this product because it not only protects my hand from the heat, but the gripping material on the bottom aids me when pouring off liquid. As the pans are heavy, these actually help me when lifting them. It stays squarely on the handle, and does not twist or turn when using. The top part is similar to a neoprene and cleans up well. It is the perfect length for all of my pots and pans.

Overall...I like these pan handle covers for what they do, however, I was under the impression I could just leave these on while I a cooking. That is not the case. I placed one of these covers on to heat up some water and immediately the whole kitchen was filled with this odd burning smell. I quickly removed the cover and I could smell a burnt rubbery smell coming from it. It smelled similar to burning hair. So don't place the handle on before cooking. Only afterwards, and try not to burn yourself in the process. Also, these covers do not seem to be one size fits all. Depending on your pot set (mine in this case are a stainless steel MainStays set I bought from Walmart) are smaller in width. It makes it easy for the covers to slip on, but they are pretty much swimming in the Duncan covers and it handicaps your grip on the pot. Overall, they keep my hand from getting burned, but since they do not fit perfectly and I constantly have to remove them, I think I was better off using a towel and spending the extra 7 on food to put into the pot. =) Hope this helps.

After my son severely burnt his hand on the handle of the Stainless steel Cephalon fry pan right out of the oven, I bought these for the future to protect the family. The Cephalon handle is larger around and longer than other pans I had handle covers for. These are a little wider, so the LARGE I pictured, will fit the 12” Cephalon fry pan handle. I would not use it to cook IN the oven, just for AFTER baking to protect everyone hands. The handle doesn’t get hot on the stove, just in the oven. It is made of Neoprene (wet suit material). The top is smooth, the bottom has soft bumpy grips. Made in CHINA.

They work great as far a keeping the handle cooler. Just don't get them close to the flame with a gas stove, the stink when burning.

La calidad es muy buena. Yo las compré para unas sartenes que me he comprado de hierro y van perfectas. Lo único es que son dos tamaños, uno es más pequeño, que va perfecto para una sartén pequeña.

Ich habe die Kitchen Grips bestellt, um eine Pfanne mit Edelstahlgriff in den Backofe stellen zu können ohne sich danach die Finger zu verbrennen. Bevor ich die Pfanne wieder aus dem Backofen genommen habe, habe ich den größeren der beiden Kitchengrips auf den Pfannenstil gesteckt und es hat wunderbar isoliert. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
