I must admit I was hesitant at buying refurbished goods until we purchased a PC via amazon. This opened our eyes and also alleviates our concerns about reuse/recycle - which we try very hard to do with everything we can.The stick and remote were immaculate. If it didn't have stickers on the box to say it was a refurbished item we never would have guessed it was.We have had amazon fire sticks and boxes since they were first released. Amazon prime enabled us to get shot of the ever increasingly expensive Sky and we have never looked back since.I was shocked at the streaming difference between this 4K and our old box. We had only purchased it because we needed a new remote (how expensive are the replacements!!) but I am really glad that we did.Thumbs up all round from our household Amazon.

Very simple setup and had it working quickly. I have seen some comments about not being able to enter lower case characters in the WiFi password. This is not a problem, but you need to use the 'Aa' case option in the lower left side of the keyboard to toggle. It worked first time for me. The remote is working fine. It can take several attempts to get the volume working. I haven't got voice activation working, but the menu options are so easy to use, you don't really need it. Good value and recommended.

Much faster than my old fire stick and not glitchy at all I can’t fully comment on picture quality because it is being used in a good quality but non 4K screen . I can state that the picture quality is much better than my old fire stick on my screen and at least matches the picture from my TiVo box . I am using the optional Ethernet connection not WiFi. Pleased with my purchase as the smart features of my elderly LG 3D telly weren’t up to much by today’s standards

What's not to like? As far as I'm concerned, there's no way of knowing that this was refurbished... apart from the fact I ordered a refurbished fire stick.Packaged perfectly, with all the clear plastic protective things over the fire sticks, remote and accessories etc. Worked first time. Very sleek. And I feel good about the fact I've saved it going to landfill.Don't hesitate. Buy now.

Purchased 2 for home, set up one and is working perfectly, the second remote isn't working and had to contact support, not so great to get replacement, have to wait 2 days to have it delivered to me, if I lived in a remote area I'd understand, but this is an Amazon product and I live in London, not a great service tbh.
