The moths loved them
We had a bad moth problem in a rug. I put these down and the moths loved them. So much so, I bought more!

Working so far
I've had a problem with pantry moths and someone recommended these. I have placed one on the inside of each of my kitchen cupboard doors where food is stored. After 2 weeks managed to catch one moth but I'm pretty sure there's more lurking about. Bleaching and disinfecting cupboards doesn't work. Bay leafs believe or not do work and I also have those scattered around the cupboards. All food packaging is wiped down before storing so I have no idea how we have them. Our kitchen is also brand new so it's a bit of a mystery. Been told by someone else who had them that is took 2.yrs to get rid of them. Hoping these sticky things work quicker than that!

AWFUL - USELESS
We have had quite a bad clothes moths problem for a few years and sometimes have uses pheremone strips, which usually caught a number of moths. In 2023 I decided I was going to get on top of the problem and put pheremone strips in most rooms to break the cycle try to erradicate the problem. Pheremone strips are costly and so I did lots of research and decided on these, as they were cheaper. I bought many and placed them everywhere. However, they caught literally ZERO clothes moths. On one strip we had caught a house fly ... but that was it. Even after weeks ... nothing. However, there were countless clothes moths flying around. Complete waste of money. I was more annoyed that I had wasted a valuable year and not reduced the problem and probably allowed it to increase. I will start again this year and buy the strips I have used in the past, that did catch many moths and immediately.

IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR WOMEN!!
Or, of course, men with long hair. Before you even consider opening the packet, put your hair in a shower cap or bandana or something. You'll understand why in a moment...I don't really have a massive moth problem, but for the last couple of months there's usually one flitting about and I might see six or seven at any one time on the wall in my bedroom. So I got some of those cedar rings which didn't make much difference. Yesterday I decided any amount of moths is too many moths so I resigned myself to spending what feels like a lot of money and dealing with it before it becomes a proper issue. These traps were the first things to arrive today and so I started setting them up about an hour ago. I was only halfway through constructing the first one when I started getting dive-bombed by moths. It seems there are more of them than I thought...My cats are thoroughly delighted and are leaping around after them. I am less so, and started running around trying to find something to cover my head. After being semi successful (I used an amazon plastic packaging bag - I was not prepared) I set up the rest of them, placing the one furthest from where I was sitting first. Now they're all up, I got rid of every piece of the packaging, cleaned the area around where I built them, washed my hands, and am zapping any that do come near the sofa with air freshener. It's not especially effective. There is certainly activity around the traps and they're clearly very attracted to them, but I don't yet know how well they'll work at ridding me of them.In terms of other traits, they were super quick and easy to set up, they're smaller than I expected which makes them easier to shove onto a shelf, and they don't have any scent to humans or, seemingly, cats at all. They have one of those long cardboard holes with a bump in for hanging them, or a removable tab on the bottom for sticking them flat onto a surface. So far, I think I'm pleased, but I'll update this in a couple of weeks to report on how well they actually work. Wish me luck!Update. (Previously 5 stars, now 3)It's been about two months now and these didn't really help the situation at all. The one thing they were good for was showing me which room had the biggest problem. The bedroom was clearly the focal point after that one had about 12 moths in it and the living room only had three, so I started out with the spray treatment in the bedroom. That was fine for time, but the traps showed me they'd moved into the living room, since that one now had more dead moths in it.We did this dance from room to room for a couple of weeks and then I gave up and got an exterminator in. I would recommend that to anyone in the same situation. It cost less than £200 for a three bedroom flat and I haven't seen a moth since. I'd already spent half of that on home treatments that ultimately didn't work.Don't wait and waste your time, money and clothes. Just call a professional. I wish I'd done it earlier.

Moths in your birdseed?
As a parrot owner, I had a moth infestation, these moths are notorious for hatching from birdseed.I spent a week fighting them the hard way!But they are tough little moths, thump them too soft and they’ll live, too hard and they’ll stain your walls…. So I bought this product.Does it work? YES, YES, and thrice YES!I was sitting on the sofa as the Amazon package came through my letterbox. These strips were sealed in the plastic manufacturer’s packaging (two strips per packet) I had 3 packs so they were sealed in a clear multi-pack plastic packaging, and the whole item was dispatched to me by Amazon using their durable grey self-sealing plastic packet…. By the time I’d walked to the door, picked up the delivery, and sat back on the sofa to open it I WAS COVERED IN MOTHS!They were attracted to the pheromones through three sealed plastic layers!I put the first two strips out immediately and watched in amazement as the first few were caught…. within 24 hours there were 40 moths caught and my house was free! Its been 3 days and I haven’t seen a moth since, and prior to that I’d been hunting them all over the house, bedroom, bathroom… everywhere!I put two strips in my living room and it pulled the moths from all over the house.End of problem, and I have 4 more strips to use over the next few weeks as more moths hatch out, as they undoubtedly will.Easy to use: it’s a postcard size stiff card. There’s a small peel off adhesive strip on the back so you can stick the card to any smooth surface, or just lean it up somewhere… peel off the front layer to expose the sticky side and BINGO!
