Easy to use!
I just ordered again. I made my own deodorant for the first time and these worked perfectly. Leave the clear plastic lid on and the twist on lid. Fill from the bottom. Snap the bottom twist cap on and you are done.

NOT top fill!
These are not top fill! These are definitely bottom fill. Pop the twist bottom off. Leave dome cap in place and screw top cap on. Set the container upside down with open bottom facing up. Pour in molten liquid until it reaches the base piece that moves when twisting up or down (not the outer most ring!). Let the liquid that was poured in solidify. Then snap the base twist cap back on. Remove screw top cap and twist bottom until dome cap pops off. Tah dah! These are easy to assemble and disassemble. I haven't cleaned/washed one yet but would assume that it would be safe to put the cylinder in the top rack of the dishwasher and the caps in the silverware basket.

Not worth the purchase.
Too bulky. Not what's described. Not easy to refill as there's no bottom th the roll up part. Sending back my order for a refund.

Used these for homemade deodorant and they work great. I filled from bottom and taped the clear half sphere cap on in case of leaks. Sturdy well made plastic containers. Twist up mechanism works smoothly. They are too big for lip balm as description indicates. I recommend these tubes!

I ordered these on reading the review (and instructions) of Donald Balzli... Thank you Donald! These are definitely bottom fill and were very easy to assemble. To reiterate Donald’s instructions... Keep the cap and lid screwed on, turn upside down and fill from the bottom until your melted ingredients reach the tip of the plastic internal turning mechanism. Push the bottom (turning wheel) back on and leave aside (or in the fridge) to set. These really are very simple to use and make a decent sized deodorant stick. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
