Create more for your child and you
I wish all parents of kids who've been labeled would read this book. (And that all parents would read at least Chapter 19, 'What is your role as a parent?') What if there was nothing wrong with your child? What if there was nothing wrong with you? This book invites you to an awareness of what's right about your child you or others aren't getting and provides easy tools you and your child can use to function with more ease and joy. It's well written with many examples of how to use the tools and of the change they create. Yes, the information is unconventional--and if the conventional approach was working, would you be reading this review? Why not try these tools and notice what changes?

This book offered more tools to help us understand our son - more than any other book or expert or class we have ever taken. It offered us concrete ideas to help navigate parenthood. We will be ordering extra copies for his care givers, his service coordinators and his work site staff. Knowing all that we learned from this tiny book (which I have read and reread countless times!) will make everyone's life easier, most especially our son's.This is leading us into a whole new world of ideas, new people, and so much PEACE.

Offering great tools for everyday life
I believe this is the most important book you could read before you decide to put your kid on medications, and just label them before you try to understand them. The book is written in very warm and kind manner, encouraging creativity, intuitive insights and playfullness. The unique approach the authors have is very refreshing and nurturing. Offering great tools for everyday life.

New perspective
This book gives a different perspective of children who have been diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, OCD, and Autism. Our culture has defined what "normal" and "average" is. If a person doesn't fit into that definition then they are not normal or average and something is wrong with them. What if we try and learn from them on how they see, communicate, and experience the world--what changes are possible and our relationships could improve significantly.

Dare to be different!
Such a phenomenal book! Gives you a new perspective of children & their capacities & abilities rather than the labels they are given when you do not understand where they function from.
