5 Drawer Jewelry Storage Organizer

I usually don't take the time to leave reviews, but I thought I would help others in search of good jewelry storage. I bought this to store jewelry and am using it in my clothes closet. I am very happy with it, and generally I am a picky consumer. The drawers move smoothly and it does not look cheap. I would not use it on my bedroom dresser, however. Others might, depending on what their furniture and decor are like. Before it arrived I had thought I might spray paint it silver or white, however now that it is here I kind of like it just like it is.I also ordered a set of flat black velvet tray inserts (sold on Amazon in a pack of 6 for about $14) to go with this. I considered getting anti tarnish cloth and cutting it to fit the drawers, but decided it was not really worth it unless I was going to lay a cover on top of the jewelry also, which I don't want to do. So, I will lay my jewelry on top of the black velvet inserts. I will not be moving this piece around, so I don't have to worry about the jewelry shifting.I am very happy to finally have a piece big enough to store everything. In preparation for this I started going through my drawers and pulling out jewelry I had stored in bags. I was chagrined to see pieces that I had duplicates of, simply because I didn't realize I already had an item. For instance I recently purchased a 24 inch silver chain, and now I see I already had one. Now that I will be able to readily see all of my jewelry I hope that doesn't happen again. Also, I am lazy and quite often wore the same jewelry over and over again because I didn't want to hunt around for different pieces. Now that I can see it all I hope I wear more of it. (Not that I even really have that much jewelry to begin with though!)One other useful tip I learned about cleaning silver jewelry I will pass on. If it is not very tarnished, wash it using Dawn dish washing liquid. This seems to remove mild tarnish quickly without having to rub it with cloths or use other products.

I'm using this product for something a bit different than it was intended, so let me lead off with that factoid in this review.I've been looking for an inexpensive solution to store a large-ish folding knife collection along with some of my other EDC items (watch, wedding ring, etc.). My purchase criteria was to find something with multiple drawers that had enough depth to store my items, but weren't so deep as to waste space. A depth of between 1" and 1.5" for the drawers was my target in order to easily hold some of my larger knives with a pocket clip. I also wanted the drawers to have no dividers or trays so that I could arrange my items as I wished. Lastly, I wanted to spend under $100 for something that was well-made and had a simple, straightforward appearance. Measured by this criteria, this jewelry organizer has hit the target almost perfectly for me.For those looking to use this product in a similar fashion, I simply cut and lined the drawers with black, Duck Brand grip shelf/drawer liner (also purchased here on Amazon) which works just fine to keep the knives from sliding around when the drawers are opened or removed...and it looks the part as well for my intended purpose. The drawer interior dimensions are L-14 3/8" x W-7 3/4" x H-1 1/4" if that helps you to match this storage box to your specific purpose.It also bears mentioning that the drawers remove easily if you wish to display the contents as a group. This product is, after all, designed for jewelers to do that very thing I suppose. Lastly, and as you can see in the photos, this box holds a fair amount of content which is adding a small level of organization to my life that I needed.All-in-all, I'm very happy with this product and would buy it again with no reservations.

I have more almost too much silver jewelry. It tarnishes, which I find annoying. Worse I can't get all the tarnish off my older silver.Initially I purchased the single trays with glass tops. I could see the contents and I put a piece of "3M Anti-Tarnish Paper Silver Protector" in the box. I ended up with three glass topped cases, which was awkward. I had to find the right box, unlatch the lid to get what I needed. The boxes were heavy and everything shifted when moved. I was not getting another box.This is perfect. The silver tarnish protection paper, which works, is in the drawers, it takes one hand to slide the drawer out -- which is much easier. Wrong drawer, shut it and open another.I purchased these black liners:A velvet pad drawer liner for odd shaped or big piecesA 7 slot and a 10 slot liner for my thin and wide braceletsBangles are in a box with 8 compartmentsLong dangle earrings in a liner with 24 sectionsWas just tired of a tangled mess. I order liners on the bigger side. There are many tray configurations. If the size of the compartments are in the item description, it helps. They trays usually come in black, grey, white or red.I have tried so many organization systems. This is the best, easy to use, looks nice, and my silver looks great against the black liner. Just wish I found it ages ago..

I ordered this to organize my jewelry into one case. It worked but the handle fell of the top drawer which I glued back on. The handles are only put on with tiny little screws. The drawers are shallow so any jewelry you have that is wide or tall will not fit. This case also DOES NOT come with the drawer inserts to place your jewelry in so remember that is an added cost and you need them or your stuff will fall out a hole that is in the drawer.
