Review and recipe
These truffles are incredible. If you thought truffles were only for the rich and Grodan Ramsey, then guess again. Great taste for the price, I would recommend pairing eith truffle seasoning salt and or oil if you like an extra bold Truffle taste.Here's a quick little breakfast recipe if you are looking for a way to test your truffle, but don't want to pull out the prime yet:Shiitake truffles breakfast burrito:Take one cup of sliced shiitake and fry them up in a pan, then put half of them aside.Pour egg mixture (I like to whip my eggs with a little bit of heavy cream until it is a bit frothy and then I strain it and cook with salt and pepper) and make a omelets.Place omelet on a tortilla wrap at top, then place a row of the previously set aside shiitake, lastly shmear some time of cream (cream cheese, goat cheese, etc. Something savory.)Now wrap up the tortilla by folding in the side and then rolling it down starting in the omelets sides, don't be afraid to use your hands to squeeze that burrito tight and pack the ingredients in neatly.Finally take the wrap and place it back on the frying pan starting with the opening to fry it shut, then fry all the sides one by one until its crisp and golden all around, I even like to stand it up and get the ends.Finally for the Coupe De Grace sprinkle black truffle seasonjng salt on top and grated or slices fresh black truffle!Enjoy!

Lea comentó, tuve una cena y utilizamos la trufa que compramos y de verdad que sentimos que nos engañaron con este producto. Es una trufa de verano que no huele y no sabe a nada, parece un corcho de vino. La pena que pasamos con nuestros comensales fue horrible y además perdimos el risotto que habíamos hecho. Nos sentimos estafados. No lo recomiendo a nadie

Good packaging, not the best product.
Came fast and well packaged...but the product itself wasn't what I expected. The taste was a lot more bland than truffles I've tried before and the truffle itself was really dry. It was hard to slice and it crumbled a lot. Wouldn't say it's worth the value.

It has a very mild flavor.
It has a nutty flavor with earthy tones. I just slice it thin and eat it. I would not use it with strong favors. I like that they come whole.

Amazing truffle for the price. Fast shipping, great flavor, fresh, well packaged. I will order again. I made Carbonara with A5 Wagyu.

Extremely dry. Almost no flavor. I grew up in Italy and I know what it’s supposed to taste like.
