ASUS ROG POSEIDON-GTX780-P-3GD5 Graphics Card

Pros: Big, Beautiful, OUTRAGEOUS PERFORMANCE, Price is so good... I just can't even. It's soooooo cool (Temperature wise). I love the function that Asus has come up with here. An air and liquid cooled gpu, that comes stock?? That is so cool (Stylistically). This card is heavy! I know that seem silly, but it's just nice to have something in your hands you spent a few hundred bucks on and have weigh as much as a small infant baby. I really just can't get over this card. When I first saw the card online, I wasn't wowed, but when I had it in my hands. Its so much better in person.I don't need to talk about the performance difference here. OBVIOUSLY. Nvidia knows what they are doing, it's silly to sit here and talk about the specs of the card. I used to be an AMD fanboy. Now... I can't deny the logic of the situation. AMD's R9 290X was my first choice. It was more expensive and in many games does not outperform even the reference GTX 780. The R9290x is simply not priced well enough yet to be a better deal.Listen, if you are looking for a new card that will last you years, this is your product! With the liquid cooling capabilities so easily accessible, you will gain years of use out of this card. I promise.Cons: I wish I had another to run in SLI.

Greetings.The December 23 installed the new video card GTX 780 Asus ROG Poseidon, when turn on my computer generated video signal, but about 5 minutes of playing COD4 the computer shuts down.The normal temperature is 37c and 43c without playing, when playing climbs up 60c according to the Log.I have connected the power supply 6 and 8 PCI-E, also 6-pin EZ PLUG to the motherboard which is supposed to be a power supply additional power to the video card.Dismissed the UPS connected the power cord from the power supply directly to the mains.I bought a new Case with 7 fans, 1 of 140mm fans, 4 of 120mm and 2 of 90mm.The power source required the video card is 600W and my power supply has 750W ,also required 38A on +12V and 62A power supply has.Computer information:Video Card: Asus ROG POSEIDON-GTX780-P-3GD5Driver: 347.09Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus Extreme VICPU: Intel Core i7-4770kCPU Speed: 3.5 GHzMemory: Kingston KHX24C11T3K2 / 16XMemory Capacity: 2X8GB DDR3 2400MHzHDD: Seagate BarracudaCapacity: 3TBSSD: Kingston HyperX 3K SSDCapacity: 240 GBAudio Card: Creative Sound Blaster Fatality 1Operating System: Windows 8.1 64bitPower: Thermaltake TPG-750MCase: NZXT Phantom 410.Please help me.

The fan fell off on arrival, no real problem the brackets still in tact I just had to push it back on. The card works fine and fan works properly l.

This is not a quiet card. The fan coil whine is terrible. The Direct CU 2 version is the best. It's super quiet. If you like the extra speed at the expense of noise, by all means get it. If not, pass.

I give the card 3 stars only becuase I bought a Asus 290 before this one. The 290 was too sweet and way better than this card but it would not work properly. I contacted AMD and they said since I started with Nvidia, I could only use Nvidia. I sent the 290 back and bought this one. This one was $150.00 more than the 290, one less GB, and did not come with any games. The worst, the graphic are not as good.The main problem....it said it came with a $60.00 rebate but that was a lie from Amazon.

I have yet to try the water cooling on this card but even with just the fans it keeps the card quite cool. I was able to keep the card at about 50 degrees Celsius in a tiny room on a 32 degree Celsius day, this was while I was running Skyrim on ultra. The card preforms beautifully and will run everything I throw at it on ultra or very high. I haven't overclocked at as I don't want to get it really working hard without the water cooling hooked up. This card is definitely a good one for price and seeing as it's one of the few (to my knowledge) with inbuilt water cooling, it is definitely a good choice for someone with a decent budget that wants a beautiful show PC that will last.

300 bucks for a dedicated graphic card with liquid cooling solution, this is a steal.Update: Fans stop working after 3 years of usage. Will not recommend

Little to no fan noise from this case which I was a little worried about reading other reviews. The option to water cool or air cool was a great idea and took away some hassle when setting up my loop. This thing has ran everything I have thrown at it in ultra and only having a few issues in Wolfenstein: The New Order, but once the initial burn was done there was no problem; or it was water cooling it, either way it is great.

Good product, received in good condition by estimated delivery date.Ignore estimated ship date though, it is not accurate for this retailer.Received correspondence in good time as well.Quite a bit more expensive than other retailers for the same product, I am guessing that is why they still had it in stock and others do not.
