These are easy to install and last a long time. Worth the money! They keep dressers from falling over. The weight these things can hold amazes me. Very functional design.

Not the typical use, but I needed to secure our two cat trees to the wall so that my toddler and preschooler would stop pulling them out into the center of the room, and also so that they didn't wobble so when our largest cat jumped up to the top. These worked perfectly and we've used the in the past to secure heavier furniture, so I know they work for that as well. They're easy to install, and really, every piece of furniture in any house with children should be anchored. I bought this to anchor my daughter's HEAVY dresser to the wall. I am SO glad I did, because about a month after installing it she used a chair and tried climbing up to get something from her rtop drawer. She ended up knocking the chair over out from under her feet. I ran into the room with her screaming in terror as she clung to the top drawer. The dresser would have been on top of her and crushed her against the bed rail behind her if I had not used these anchors!!! So thankful! Make sure you anchor them into studs in the wall, or they will be of no use. These are nice, heavy duty anchors, and take it from me, they work!

We used this product to secure a very heavy and tall chest to my granddaughter's wall. A few days before, she had pulled the chest over, but luckily not on top of herself. The hardest part of the installation was finding the studs. After that, it was just drilling, installing the screws, and inserting the straps into the buckles. I did take a picture of the way the straps were inserted in the buckles BEFORE I took them apart to do the install, just to make sure I connected the straps correctly in the buckles. I am very confident I installed the product correctly and that it would prevent the chest from falling again.

No problem with screws given, they were strong and went into the wooden studs fine when you pre-drill the holes and especially use the flat-head part of the screw to drive it in. DEFINITELY need to predrill holes into wall and furniture if you expect to get these screws in without a ton of effort. I underestimated how long it would take put a pair of these on! Between figuring out where the studs were located, how high to place them, and where on the back of the furniture you will want to drill your screws, it took twice the time I thought. There were other straps available at over twice the price that use velcro to attach to your furniture, but this product is the right price and more secure for toddlers in my opinion. Using screws to attach to the back of your furniture is more secure but requires twice the effort over the velcro brands! You want to consider if there are adequate places to put 4 screws at about 1 inch in length on the back of your furniture.

My hubs is picky about what he attaches to our walls. In our quest to save the grandkids from pulling our tall organizer bin cabinets (keep their toys in the bins in my craft room) over just in case they decide to climb up them, he used these to firmly attach the two cabinets to the wall. They can’t be seen which is aesthetically pleasing. They can be easily removed if we need to move the cabinets. And we like how the sheetrock anchors have given us peace of mind they will not pull out under duress.

Easy and quick to install. Has kept our climbing toddler safe. Thankful for this product.

I purchased the safety 1st wall straps because my 2 year old son started climbing on his tv stand. I received a package of two straps, my husband installed them fairly easily, the hardest part was digging out the stud finder. We bought another set to put onto his dresser, because I anticipate my son's interest in climbing will not be confined to one article of furniture. After installation, we both pulled on the furniture and it seemed as though it was not going anywhere, so I am pleased with my purchase and I would recommend these to anyone who has a child that has King Kong tendencies.

Does the job well. It takes some agility to use with a tall book case.
